By that logic the PS3 and 360 have the same graphical capabilities as the Wii.

Wow, that "box art" is brilliant. I especially like how Wily's now not just an alien (MM2) or a robot (MM3), but an alien robot cyborg ninja! Yeah, that's right, he's a robot and also a cyborg. Chew on that for a while.

Ferret Warlord: that has to be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time! Its a perfect homage to the horrible box art of earlier Mega Man titles and the overall design of early Capcom NES box art. :D

Holy crap the Mega Man 2-box actually said "High Resolution Graphics"? Hahahaha. I am amazed.

They should make the actual game look like that.

Capcom is really getting retro with this. It seems to have been inspired by Megaman 2's European boxart.

I've yet to see a 'realistic' depiction of Megaman that matches what I think the character looks like. I mean, megaman's fist/gloves/boots/etc are all the exact same size as his torso. Stubby legs in big boots...

Is that Dr. Light hiding behind what I guess is supposed to be Crash Man? Could it be that he's the true villain? Ah, poor Dr. Wily, so misunderstood.

Ah, well that makes sense. Anyway, I just heard that in an interview about the game, Dr. Light being evil this time. I'll try finding the video... Found it: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36512.html

Hmm, that reminds me of my really old pet hypothesis that the cataclysm in the X series is actually the result of Megaman going crazy.

Indeed. Like this plot line hasn't been used before... Dr. Cossack. Protoman Mr. X

Actually, my inside sources indicate that he's being framed by Dr. Cossack, because he knows that nobody would expect him to be the villain.

Now that just makes me want to ask more questions. Why can't you charge up or slide? Why don't they use the old Mega Man logo? Where do those Dark Mega Men come from?

I think its a nice addition having dark Mega Mans. But I wonder why we humans associate dark with something evil. Anyway, moving this topic to the "Other Games" section.

Why? As far as we know, this game isn't TASable, which is what I understand the "Other games" forum is for.

Well the header mentions "discussions about games" "and other playing topics" so I guess it doesn't matter.

To kinda go back to a former conversation, Capcom has apparently decided to include a mode that will simulate the Nintendo's sprite flicker and lagging. Read [a lot] more at Gamasutra. Man. First the look, then the boxart, now this. When they said they were going retro, they meant it, and I, for one, couldn't be any happier about it. :P
