That one hit tengue man was absolutely amazing! About the other glitches you found, can they save time? The reason why I am asking is because both of the published runs zip a lot already.
Really impressive glitches. Also I've always wanted to see a one hit battles in Mega Man series, totally awesome. Also those zippings does look really insane and I hope you're going to work on this game again if you aren't already :)
I'm sure most of them will save time, few of them are just for entertainment and for show.
Hmm,most tricks can save time,few for show in astro stage.the example horizontal zip is waste time,but it can zip without corner,according to this I could keep finding its value.
The shade of enemy was disappear where I used lightning to fall down and change screen in astro stage,it is for fun.

I need some help getting through this game, I had no idea how difficult it was until I had played myself without cheats and now that I know, I fail this game forever. At least I was able to beat Cold Man but does anyone have any tips for me on how to get through the game?

Check www.gamefaqs.com, they're bound to have helpful guides, and there's a forum there that sometimes occasionally doesn't have totally idiotic discussion.
1) Don't get hit
2) Don't fall into pits
3) Don't touch spikes
If you're having problems, then you're failing one of those three. Figure out which one it is, figure out why it's a problem, and the improvement required should become clear.

1: Can this trick use in any other places?
2: Shock Guard is usable only once. When of timing that uses it is best?
3: I don't know it is possible to collect necessary bolts, if I could buy Hyper Charge and another Shock Guard, it become faster than not buying?
1.Other similar places is like the belt in king1,require ice and moving object.
2.I haven't test it already,but there are three places in my thought.
a.Magicman:The same as my last published run.
b.Groundman:Usage As fractalfusion published run.
c.King1:A sink place with spike.
3.I have cllected 520 Bolts before dynamo boss fight,I think bolt is no problem.
I don't think you will need to buy Shock Guard again cause there are no suitable places to use between bunner~tengu except buy it after ground.
Dynamo level has be done.

Route might be cold->astro->dynamo->burner->pirate->tengu->magic->ground (magic and ground may be able to replace)
I'm wondering best shopping methods. I devised two type:
1: After dynamo, buying Counter attack and Shock guard. After magic or ground, High speed charge and Shock guard.
2: After tengu, buying Counter attack High speed charge and Shock guard at a time.
Shopping item lost about 4 sec. I think that High speed charge may be able to save time than not having it. Especially, re-fighting astro and dynamo.
