So, Incredible Crash Dummies are game like festers quest, so some people (like me) likes it, and some people hates it, but I think I like it only, becaus I played that game lot when I yonger. Also heres walkthrough movie (by me) : Level 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0RZ8q8Jpco Level 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDpG9ArjQrA&feature=user level 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GI5_MgxyWzw&feature=related Levle 3 part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXWkE1RLsLU level 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPPXiYYIHTI&feature=related level5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFipX51Ubok&feature=related And I put levels 6 - 8 later... And heres WIP: http://up.servut.us/5299 In this game, it is possible make two speeduns, using those f***** rocket (I always hate they in this game) and speedrun what not use they won't use they.. And also, this game have bug, what allows to get key from junkbot before you kill it, but it is not useful, becaus you still need kill him... EDIT: mistake fixed

I actually rather enjoyed that. Like you said, it needs some optimizing, and finding some useful glitches wouldn't hurt either.

Here's an old run I made once. It covers, IIRC, 4 levels, and I believe it's optimal until the level it ends midway through. You have my permission to continue where this run ends and we could have this TAS published as a team run.

Wow O_o . Thats an awasome wip... But heres another wip, that level "warehouse" to end, and next two levels... Klik And Chamale, can you do that junkjard level? Becaus I always hated that level, and I never can get over that part, where are that yellow rocket, becaus I die at that part... :\ .

L337, I watched your WIP, and I think it isn't as fast as it could be. Your rerecord count is around 200, while in my run it is over 9000. You should record everything in frame-advance mode (button \), and use all of your savestate slots. When recording a certain segment, test certain frames for holding or releasing buttons until they are as fast as possible. Also, when falling down a hole, it's good to have your guy accelerate from one side to another, again as close as possible. Don't feel bad. I put my first TAS on this site exactly a year before you, and I used advice like this to make it much better. Oh, and by the way, instead of starting your runs from a savestate, just add on to the end of my WIP. That way it's easier to look at and to add on to.

Here's a new WIP, a longer version of the last one I posted. It finishes the pier level. I'll let you do the next level.

I cannot use all savestate solts, becaus I using ps1 joypad (via smartjoy plus) and I hate to using this keyboard, becaus it having that f*** limit... But next time I do my best :) .

I'm seriously thinking of completing the TAS too, but I have to use a keyboard.

Where, exactly, is the keyboard a problem? Here's my system: z for B button x for A button The arrow keys for the directions enter/return for start caps lock for select \ for frame advance With this system, I can always press whatever buttons I need on my keyboard.

My system using joypad: X for a [] for b O for turbo a /\ for turbo b start for start select for select L1 for save state R1 for load save state R2 for frame advance ( or one frame at virtua nes) L2 for pause And I doing that level today

You can assign savestates to your keyboard even though you're using a gamepad for other keys.

Typical noob question, but how do you record from a savestate?

When doing "Record movie", choose the "record from savestate" or "record from now" options. But, I say again, I'd rather have movies which are just added to the end of my latest movie.

I'm presently on a short vacation, but I should be able to post some feedback within 16 hours. Just looking at the run information, the rerecord count seems low, but some people are pretty good at making optimal runs with few rerecords.
