oh your right, Bladegash. I forgot about that part. I can see how using the directional pad in the 'cube would make it harder for songs. And now that I think more about it, Admiral is right too. You need FP looking to get through the haunted wasteland even without the lens of truth. I retract my earlier statement.

100% Run? Every HC, Every Item Obtained Once, all 100 Skulltulas achieved legitly? 6-6.5hrs? Shouldn't take longer than 7 hours at most.

Would actually be cool to see. Atleast I think so and I would watch it.

Yeah, sure would be. I'd love to do something like that, but I don't have the ability to plan it all (and I haven't finished the game yet) and wouldn't have the time to do it as a single segment.

I'd love to see whoever does the run wail on the bosses with the biggoron's sword. I always liked that weapon way more than any of the others. It wouldn't even have to be single segment, if you save right when you enter a dungeon you could do a multipart like most of the metroid videos out there... TSA, you'd be my hero if you did this! :D

If someone would would decide to do a 100`% run it would be magnificent and so sweet. A think by getting on your horse it would say alot of time.

You'd have to get on the horse to do some of the sword quests from what I remember...

No, it's possible to get the Biggoron sword without Epona.

Well, it wouldn't be 100 percent completion without Epona, wouldn't it? What counts torwards this percentage? Just things you can see when you press start? If not, does getting the cow in your house count? etc...

I'd say 100% would be getting every item (at least once), every song, and getting every heart container. Though now I mention that, there would have to be a good deal of playing as kid-Link to get all the masks. Personally, I hated playing as kid-Link but for this run I think it might have to be necessary, sadly.

If you're going to do it on an older copy (1st edition) you have to make sure you get the Mask of Truth, and the 2nd Deku Nut upgrade, before becoming an adult. Also, Skulltula?

In 100% I think you'd have too count the skulltulas which whould make it a bit boring due too backtracking (like the one in Deku Tree).

It would be cool to see someone catch the Hyrulian Bas quite fast. I took me a couple of hours...

Loach, The Hyrulian Loach. I've only caught it once. 33 pounds, I wonder what the range is. I've caught a 21 pound regular fish though.

Yeah, you're right. Sorry. Is it possible to catch it without the sinking lure?

I'd give anything too se that! I worked my butt of even using the sinking lure. How about the marathon? Whould that be counted? You don't get something there if I remeber right.

You can't win the marathon. He always finishes a second faster than you. And the Hylian Loach took me ~4 hours to catch. This was before I found the sinking lure. I haven't really tried since then. I've been hunting a 22 pounder (which I'm not really sure even can exist)

hehe Im not sure if you have to catch the fish to be able to count as part of the 100% run. Also a question to TSA: When you rolled all throuh your speedrun, could it have been done faster if you have instead "Side-Jumped" all the way? It seems it would perhaps be a bit faster..

I expect that it could be faster (unless going downhill as that completely slows down the momentum) but that would also mean running blindly (well, jumping) sideways which could be bad...

Have any of you actually done time comparisons between "side hopping' and rolling? Come back when you do. You'l be suprised. Anyway, my definition of 100% run: 100 Skulltulas All items (This is sub items, like the Adult/Giant Wallet, Biggoron Sword, Golden Scale, etc) All HCs All ocarina songs And no, I have no interest in a 100% run. But you can ask me questions. I'm working feverishly on my new ALttP run...and I've had 1 success so far, but I want to push it further.

If you ask me I love when people answer questions with humbleness, kindness etc not with sarcasm (I got that impression from you). No I dont think none of us have compared with those 2 techniques but why dont you tell us the time difference?
