I don't know if this has been posted here before, but this is just insane: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyWZ3n6nzvU Basically a flash video of a custom made levels where as soon as you enter it, you no longer need any controller input to complete the level. There are others other than the one I linked, but this one is probably my favorite. It's just unbelievable how complicated some of the stuff is. If you haven't seen this before, you'll definitely be impressed. Edit: cut out wasted parts of the link

Woah, that really was amazing. Very entertaining to watch in my opinion.

Some of these videos have been mentionned in this thread. Impressing indeed... but it seems like the hack was not released publicly or something, or if it was, it's well hidden...

I quite like this one. Extremely bizarre.
<adelikat> I am annoyed at my irc statements ending up in forums & sigs

This reminds me so much of Rube Goldberg inventions. One of those vertical scrolling ones in the Boo house was just insane with the planning needed to go into it.

I propose a TAS be made that beats all levels as fast as possible, then beats bowser's castle (If this is also self-winning) by having movie end occur right after pressing the button to go into the level.

I propose that locke trim the URL, terminating it before the first &, so as to stop stretching this thread horizontally.

I'm on it, just as soon as I can find the IPS patch for it. I've actually searched around quite a bit, but no luck so far.

I think this is the patch, but I have my doubts. I couldn't get it working, presumably because I don't have a (J) rom. Edit: Also, the site is looks to be completely clean. No viruses, far as I can tell.

I don't think that's it. I have the Japanese rom, but I still didn't get it to work. Then again, I could be wrong. And the more I'm starting to look into it, I think that I very well might be.

I don't know if you noticed, but a part of this level's events are synced to the music.

Hmm, that .ips Dromicieus posted loaded as a ".xxx". Is that a computer error? If yes, please post the .ips here. If no, how does one decompress a .xxx?

The page makes mention of WinIPS, so it's probably just a renamed IPS file. Google Translate confirms this. On a more important note, the patch is for the SMB nes rom. I tried it out and it's one of those super-hard hacks that's only possible using glitches. -_-

Hey Chamale, now YOU get to trim down YOUR post about masturbating or whatever so YOU arent stretching the window 200 times its normal size.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3MT6Wi3Kp8&feature=bz301 Randomly found this after watching all the ones that Hala posted. Honestly wasn't searching for anything like this either. But this one wasn't featured on that post and it even goes to the music =D

I think using blocks that fire mario forward goes against the spirit of the concept.

How so? I mean, there is no user input, and he is going forward and completing the level all the same... I guess I just dont understand your logic behind your statement, could you elaborate? (Not being a dick, just wanting to see your side)

Maybe Chamale's saying that those blocks aren't in the original Super Mario World. But they're based on the ones from Super Mario Bros. 3, so I give them a pass. I mean, they've got a quarter note on them, and they're bouncy. I didn't associate quarter notes with bounciness before, but I do now! and raccoons with flying
