The only one I ever seriously played was one of the Alpha games, I can't remember which one. I liked Gen.

As one of the few board members old enough to remember when Street Fighter II was a new arcade game, I have to admit that at first, none of us knew how to do any moves. This was during the dark ages of arcade information, where there were no FAQs unless someone wrote an article in a magazine. And something like that wouldn't show up for months after the game came out!
Oh yeah.. I do remember when Street Fighters came out on the arcades. The graphics, the animation... just... wow.. At that time I was still in 7th grade or something.. and I cant even remember how much cions I spent on it. Anyhow.. I liked almost everyone. But I think Ken or Blanka was my favorite character. :)

I remember Ken/Ryu and Chun-Li as the only characters I could beat the game with, on the hardest level, without losing a single round. Everybody else I was just passing with.
