For whenever DOS games get accepted, here's my list of what I look forward to. Commander Keen 4: Secret of the Oracle (Goodbye Galaxy Part 1) Commander Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine (Goodbye Galaxy Part 2) Hocus Pocus Raptor: Call of the Shadows Realms of Chaos Wacky Wheels Prince of Persia Prince of Persia 2 Pharaoh's Tomb Arctic Adventure Jetpack God of Thunder Note, the Prince of Persia games differ a bit between platforms.

I have a few suggestions for TASes. Space Chase 1-3, and Chex Quest 1-3. Six of my favorite games. :3 Then there is another really old DOS Game, called Crusher. And of course Mario bros. VGA. I like a lot of the old DOS Games. :3 The Chex Quest Games would probably be the most entertaining of the bunch though. ;3

The Incredible Machine (any of its variants, "Even More Contraptions" is a good one).

TIM? Most contraptions have only 1 solution and it's mouse/click based..

I remember a lot of "hacks" showing pretty crazy solutions. There was wall clipping, and other stuff that you could exploit. Maybe the original game was limited, but the "even more contraptions" had some interesting solutions. And yeah, I'm not sure about the specifics of how dosbox works, but if mouse-clicking is not allowed, then forget my suggestion.

Chex Quest 1-3
The so-called "Chex Quest 3" is actually a collection of content stolen from other wads (source), so it's not an official Chex Quest game.

I think I remember something about a really awesome carrot ship that shot out bananas? The logo was really cool with the odd symmetry :)

the code to have the banana gun is given to you in Tyrian once you finish the game. next new game, you have it, but you lost it once you collect another weapon. the game is very easy with bananas, since it spams tremendous amounts of ammo. a run with it would not be very interesting, and you first need to finish the game anyway.

ORGON TRAIL! will be kind of like the monopoly run. With luck manipulation, it would take only the month or so it takes to get there on a grueling pace, so it would be rather pointless. Sooner or later though, I bet someone does it.

There was funny beat-em-up called Pee&Gity - I think it would be nice to see the game TASed. Also if I remember right, there's some obscure Megaman game for DOS.

They're DOS versions of Mega Man and Mega Man III, both in which Hi Tech Expressions really ruined the game. (They got Capcom's license) EDIT:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Man_%28DOS%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Man_III_%28DOS%29

I'm going to take L337's post as an opportunity to say that Supaplex is indeed TASable, but through different tools. It's somewhat limited in that it lacks savestates, but it is possible to do. Shame that topic failed to catch on. :( That topic is quite old, back when I using non-standard lingo. Please overlook that part.
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

And while this topic is revived - TAS of Fury of the furries would definitely rock.

Would return to zork be a possibility? That has got to be THE most annoying game of all time.

Why is Duke Nukem not on the list? Or Doom? Also, I'd like to see Last Half of Darkness, mainly to see if people have clever ways around those damn vampire twins near the end of the game.

Duke Nukem 3D (PC, not the n64 one, though the n64 one is a better overall game)
Blood (monolith) (this game is simply the best)
Warcraft 2 (excellent yet basic RTS)
Milo The Fuel Run (awesome platformer)
several Soleau Software games (this company knew how to make good puzzle games)
Cannon Fodder 1 (excellent gameplay)
Alien Carnage (awesome platformer)
Blake Stone AOG (good FPS)
Hocus Pocus (awesome, yet a little repetitive platformer, not much enemy variation)
Monster Bash (all parts) (excellent platformer)
I wouldn't mind also seeing a TAS of these games along with several that NACH mentioned.
