In Comix Zone you play the role of Sketch Turner, an artist that get's warped into his own comic! And as you play in a comic, the levels are big pages you have to go through, wandering from box to box, beating enemy's and solve little "puzzles". A very innovative Beat 'em Up with nice gameplay, great graphics and funny dialog :).

Make sure your sound in enabled, and your controller settings are the same. That should fix the problem. I used Comix_Zone_(4)_[!].bin and it worked just fine once I made sure the settings were the same.

My sound was enabled the whole time, my button is set at 6, tried to download all kind of different "Comix Zone (4) (!)" from random site, they all desync at 2nd level, i give up. I'll just wait for AVI instead.

oh no. There seems to be a real problem with this =/ Hmm... I will write some of my settings here: Graphic>Sprite Limit is on Sound is: enabled, Rate 44100, Stereo is on, all of the four sound chips (or whatever these are) are on. Player 1 Joypad is on 6 buttons, player 2 on 3 buttons. Here... I uploaded my config file, maybe this can solve this: http://mitglied.lycos.de/deinbenutzername/Config1.cfg

Yeah. That config worked for me as well. Thanks. :) Good play I suppose. I have never played Comix Zone before so I can't really judge. But atleast it looked good to my eyes so I will for sure vote YES. ;) Cheers mate.

Okay, I've never heard of this game before. Very nice graphics, this takes full advantage of it's rather original setting. Without scrolling levels this seems like a good game to time attack. Playing was quite nice, you even used a wide variety of different moves, which prevented the movie for being too monotone. It isn't too long either. And the movie worked fine for me.

Desynced for me too, until I tried Zero0's config file ( http://mitglied.lycos.de/deinbenutzername/Config1.cfg ). Again, I'm wondering why this movie has received many yes-votes. Only Highness has explained his vote. Is it that people vote only because they want to see the AVI? That's not what it's for..

It did not desync for me, and I didn't use the config file. I didn't vote because I don't know whats happening in the game well enough to know if this is played optimally. It's a pretty crazy game, actually.

As someone who did play through this game a few times, I think Zer0 did a fine job. Good use and planning with regards to items, used the best routes, beat enemies as quickly as possible, no damage taken from enemies (impossible to go without damage in this game, as should be obvious from watching), and is always waiting near panel changes after clearing a section. I can't see where there'd be room for any major improvement unless there is some other route I'm not remembering. I can't say anything for minor improvements of a few frames since I don't watch any replays at under 100% speed. Even if there are small improvements to be made, I think this deserves to be published, it is a solid run with no clear mistakes in it, and both the game and the run are entertaining.

^^^ same.. also imo, some point gets boring, but some point gets interesting. Boring part is the game is forcing you to wait. Fun part is to see best quick battle strategy. I think its possible to improve in .1~1 sec, in level 2 in entrance to fan room, guy rolled left, and i saw arrow showed up and you had to roll back there and jump to next scene.
