As CtrlAltDestroy suggested on IRC, we need a "Put all the crappy flash games in this thread" thread. There's been a rush of new topics made to link to flash games that are sometimes viewed as crappy, sometimes not. There you go .. we now have a semi-official thread for these links. Note that this topic isn't limited to flash games. As for the crappy youtube videos thread, sometimes people post videos that aren't crappy and sometimes they post videos that aren't hosted on youtube. You can post games that aren't flash (like downloadable games) and you can also post games that aren't crappy.

I too have thought the number of flashgame-related topics was reaching critical mass. Since the kill everyone project finished, I have no idea what to do anymore. Unless putting a ball into a hole is exciting for you.

http://www.nekogames.jp/mt/2008/01/cursor10.html You have to try 1 or 2 times to figure out what you are supposed to do, but then you'll see it's a pretty cool concept :)

The main problem with Conglomo-threads is that you quite often end up with no discussion about any particular game. So instead of discussing a topic until it isn't warranted and letting the crappy ones die, you basically remove discussion from all of them. I just speak from experience. Conglomothreads tend to be nothing but link archives, whereas individual threads tend to lead to more in-depth discussion (high scores, strategies, whatever). A flood of semi-related topics is not best kept under control with a massive thread. But then again, I suppose that is just my experience.

Even worse, as link archive threads grow and get older, many of the links on the first pages end up broken and more often than not, people don't care about rediscovering them.

This is not a flash game per se, but it does involve playing flash games. In fact, it involves playing the internet. Shuffletime!

Final Ninja Has some pretty good grappling action going on in there, actually feeling pretty similar to Umihara Kawase.

I tried that on Kongregate and can't get into it. Time isn't consistently displayed (seriously, how can you mix "0:X" and "0:0X" on the same screen?), and some of the puzzles would be easier to solve knowing at least the maximum amount of dots you have to work with. I know the point is that you don't know, but not all real life cases would have you cover all possible cases up to a range of infinity data points.
<Zurreco> if so called professional players cant adapt to every playing field, theyre obviously not that great

Because Manufactoria is turing complete on an infinite sized board, you can theoretically create any function in it - space being your limitation. You only need to know the max data size if you're not solving it properly - then again, any solution optimized for time or space is going to cut corners.
