the lobby is good so far but I haven't really tested every MM entry frame for a good conga result yet due to laziness. I haven't dropped it though.
You're hitting A right before landing on every platform you jump onto, right? Doing a roll-backflip into each loading zone before you get talon trot? Performing edge-boosts where possible?
Well, yes. but it's only the jiggy collection, using, and going in front of MM. after that I'm willing to look at every frame up to ~8 seconds past optimal entry so that I can get 2 jiggies in one in the level. if that isn't possible then I'll enter on the optimal frame, and just deal with it.

Hello everyone. I'm glad you guys appreciated my SDA run, I hope it was helpful somehow. I look forward to your TAS, Sami. The fact that you can chop off an entire half hour in the first three worlds is surprising to me. It seems like TASers always find ways to destroy even the simplest of games (or what seems simple, anyway). JSmith, you need to stop. You're just a big bully. You're making the programmers at Rare very sad. They spent a lot of time protecting the game from people like you... Good luck guys! This project will be worth the time and effort, trust me (first post made in 2005!). =]

I'm excited to see the next WIP, I played this game a lot when I was younger, and I've been waiting for some new progress ever since I saw the first few levels done.

I haven't found anything severely gamebreaking yet. As long as the note doors remain intact, we can't skip all that much. I've done a bit of work since the last update. I've determined that it's not possible to skip the Pumpkin transformation by entering the chapel as Banjo. Even if you glitch into the loading zone, it refuses to transport you unless you're transformed. The pumpkin loading zone doesn't even exist as Banjo. I don't know what would happen if you somehow glitched it into letting you stay a walrus in the Lair long enough to enter the chapel, though. I did find one minor glitch. If you're close enough to the ceiling and fire an egg backwards, it stays stuck partway through the ceiling until it breaks. The easy places to do this are inside the sleeves of the Gruntilda statue near Bubblegloop swamp, but you can do it in the chapel too. EDIT:Part of the credit to my mother for this one. If you do a talon trot jump-slide off a ledge, there is a 1-frame interval in which you can jump in midair.

Go Mom! Hehe. One thing I've been meaning to comment on this game is that I was never a big fan of the sound effects. I didn't really like the music much either, but the sound effects were very annoying. This fact is extremely amplified in this TAS and I think that is a real shame. It's almost like having a Zelda run with low-health beeping for the entire run! I wonder, is there a way to not capture sound effects when recording? Some way to manipulate the output to be quiet or something? I'll probably have to watch this one on mute otherwise...

just because you don't like it doesn't mean that we should make it less legit. sound is part of the game and I like the music.

Is there any chance another WIP will be posted soon? The first two levels looked great, and I've been curious about how the rest of Clanker's Cavern would go. I had no idea the termite could be skipped entirely like that. I could imagine Click Clock Wood would give a bit of trouble, with the need to constantly go back and forth, though you'd have every power by that point.

Oh, right. lol. I was thinking, though, that it was possible you found a route shortcut in a slightly previous area. Maybe. >_> Nevermind. Good luck with the rest of Clanker's Cavern. Hope to see some more soon. :D EDIT: Are you planning on going for the Stop 'n' Swap items? They technically don't count as part of the game, but having them doesn't affect your ability to play and stuff like that, though they technically count as "Sandcastle Cheats."

Well I don't collect those Stop 'n' Swap items. They are weird and not part of the story :p and it's really boring to watch when i put those codes in sandcastle. My goal is same as marshmallow: All Jiggies, Notes and Honeycombs.

Really? I never heard how to do that. I only heard about funny stuff you could do with the "moonjump" code.

I did a search for this glitch after I saw the post mentioning it, and tried for at least half an hour to no avail whatsoever. Looking forward to the next WIP, though.
