I person I know is holding an independant Nintendo music concert and he asked me to make him a logo. So I made this. It's nothing spectacular, it's only going to go on a few black and white handouts and he is going to make some buttons, but I thought it was a pretty neat idea, and it's a simple and recognizable design. http://virtualalex.com/alexk/portfolio/nintendo_music/nintendo_music.html

looks cool, I wonder if it looks any better if the controller replaces large circle at the bottom of that symbol?

it needs a better relation between the drawing and the text.

Nintendo Entertainment Music doesn't make much sense.. I think it would be better as Music Entertainment System to avoid using the Nintendo name and to make more sense and sound more like NES, but that's just me.

Well, maybe you are right Boco, but it is a concert based on the music from Nintendo games, and also changing the name of the event isn't in my power as a logo designer. Ventuz, I did try that, that was actually my original idea, but in order for it to work I would have to make the controller much smaller, and then it was totally over powered by the clef. The text has been my biggest problem. I have tried tons of fonts, and I can't decide if it should looks modern, 8-bit, or calligraphic. You got any ideas?

HEY! Thanks a ton! I love fonts! I tried a bunch of them, but non of them look good. Those pixalated looking fonts just don't look good when placed next to smooth objects.
