Just finish it = spend a few ten thousand rerecords and many hours perfecting a game that will likely get rejected and has shown less than marginal interest at best. It's not difficult to see why nobody has stepped up for this one.
On a side note, I demand you ALL Tas the movie Gladiator for me.
Is this going to become another shouting match? The game looks and feels unprofessional, inconsistent, and overhyped. I'm sorry, funguy10, but if people don't want to play it or TAS it, then there's nothing you can do. :\

not quite; the only other option funguy10 is to TAS it yourself. I know you hate hearing that again, but you have now had *2* threads [1] where it's been proven that no one wants to do it nor thinks it's TAS worthy. The only way this will be done to your liking requires you making it.
Does that sound scary? it does. TASing for the first time is a little daungting; everyone was a newb once. might it get rejected? possibly, but only YOU can prove otherwise.
So I will fully support any attempt that you make towards this yourself, but I will continue to frown upon any "trust me it's good someone TAS it" attitude.
[1]: Except that I merged those threads now. --Bisqwit
But this hack is popular if you dony't belive me( And you'd better belive it if you don't!) Check out the thread at ACMLM's board and then talk to me about unworthy!
http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=9881
You have to understand that Acmlm's board is all about MAKING hacks while TASVideos are all about SPEEDRUNNING games. That's two very different things.
Besides, right now the Second Reality thread in Acmlm is all about "how do you patch this" "where's the right ROM" "how do I do this and this". You've bought up the TAS question, but it was pretty much shot down anyway. And they also suggested that YOU do the TAS. Even here and on Acmlm's board, nobody has developed any interest in doing the TAS other than, oh, you know... YOU.
Doesn't that tell you that Second Reality isn't even worth speedrunning at all? If you want to see a speedrun of Second Reality so bad, do it yourself. Nobody else is going to.
Also, FPI, the creator of the hack, clearly stated in the thread that he needs some more work updating the game. And Bisqwit has stated several times that the hacked game has to be 100% complete (as in, everything is flawless and does not need further testing) before it can even be considered. There's a chance that the hack will be better after the update and people are more willing to run the hack. Who knows? Just wait it out 'till it's confirmed from FPI that it is indeed the last version.
You pretty much have only one option available: do the TAS yourself. That's all.
This thread hasn't even slipped off to the second page, so there's no need to bump it if you don't have any info to contribute.
Your thread isn't better than anyone else's.
So, the fact that the thread has been unlocked isnt enough?... Nothing has changed since the last time. You still order people to do the run, ignore the fact that you have been banned and you want it to be the most popular one by keeping it on top, with useless replys.
I guess that all that is left to do is locking it again...

Permabans are very rare and are probably reserved for aggressive posters. at least funguy10 is keeping his posts consolidated in this thread.
That being said, I don't see why everyone says that they're not interested/impressed/etc with this hack, and then continue to come back here and say the same thing. What drives people to keep returning to a thread where they know that their comments won't do a lick of good for anyone?
It's not even done, you said yourself that the author is still working on a new version. One important rule for running hacks is "no hacks that are still being worked on".

Apparently very few people find the hack interesting. No one is willing to TAS this, especially since the hack isn't even complete. Unless the hack is completed very soon/becomes really interesting really fast, I think you should just sit back and let the thread die.
Honestly, I think this topic should be locked 'till there's actually anything worth updating.
There's no need to keep a topic devoted to a hack that nobody has any interest in up.
To put it less diplomatically than everyone else, this hack sucks, and it's unfinished, and you're very vocal about it, which makes you and this thread irritating.

Here's an idea: How about everyone who doesn't care at all about this hack, or the TAS of said hack, stop posting. If I count right, that would leave exactly 1 person still here posting, posting away into the night...
