That shows how well they are integrated into the site's layout. You really aren't bothered by them (that much) because they are very subtle. This is great, since most graphical ads just use terrible blinking yellow/red colors.
Comparing the "Ad Unit Impressions/day" value from YPN and the "Pages/day" value from Webalizer(decreased with the number of forum hits, which make about 25% of the traffic), it looks like about 40% of users use an advertisement blocker in their browser.
Wow, that's pretty high.
Back when I worked as a web designer the highest we saw (for Adwords) was around 20%.
I guess for a more tech oriented site you'll have a higher portion of users using ad blockers.
The real shame is that most people using ad blockers want to avoid the real invasive and annoying advertising, but by blocking out all advertising they also block the non intrusive advertising of websites who depend on advertising revenue.
I think as adblocking tools get more easy to use the networks (YPN, etc.) will have to work around it. Just having one external linked file, wile efficient in other ways, makes it far too easy to block for example.

Not true, YPN occassionally reports higher payings for days with less clicks. (But rarely.)

you should really go PPP instead of PPC. Google offer the two solution, maybe you want to take a look at google webpage to see if you can have Pay per Print. I think it would be better.
Well sorry, I didn't read for google (google and yahoo ads look the same) But does yahoo offert the same service, like per per print ?
If yahoo is the competitor of google, I don't know why they wouln't implements a add like that.
Also, as you are pretty good with programming bisqwit, you should try to do rotation ads, and maybe sell some space on the website yourself. It would be an alternative to those of want to pay in the forum, but don't care about add being removed from their account. If you can keep track of how many print you do, you could sell this and maybe get a better amount of money.

What do you mean by rotation ads?
As for selling space... I don't want to do that.
For one, bandwidth is not really a thing I can compete with, and network storage implies bandwidth. I also want to have control on everything served by my server. A wiki is perfectly fine because I can edit it too without feeling like inconveniencing someone.
Also, what are "print"s? Are they a synonym for "impressions"?

I don't know if I am blocking ads or not, I can't see any ads. I'm using the following (that might be related to problem):
Firefox 2
Extensions:
Adblock (tasvideos not on it)
Linkification (this extension convert plain URL text into clickable link)
NoScript (tasvideos is permitted on it, nothing else to permit on the list)
the best option would be to upgrade AdBlock to a more recent version, and place tasvideos.org on your whitelist. That way any advertisment bisqwit chooses now or in the future is allowed, without affecting your decisions for other sites.
Ventuz, Noscript behaves strangely, even for allowed sites. If you temporarily allow all sites under noscript's options, then the ads should appear.
Edit: Also make sure that if you've donated to the site, that you log out.
