Not really. It's also rather hard to predict what games will look good when TASed, so the only way is to make and release a test run or a WIP (or a full run if one's confident enough), and let the forum members state their opinion on it. Also, there already is a List of Ideas (which, however, needs a more frequent updating, and a blacklist as well).

Batman 2 - return of the joker Cabal 2-player I can't think of any others NES games that would make good runs.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

EarthBound Zero AKA Mother. I don't think it's really had a lot of serious discussion.

Rambo
I think Rambo was rejected for being long and boring.

If you want a run of it so badly, why don't you do it?

I am incapable of Speed Running. I don't have the required patience, nor the skill to do so. Plus I have never beaten the game. Always get lost. Not to mention I don't know a thing about TAS dynamics. So there are many reasons. A TAS for EarthBound Zero was being discussed a little until I joined in the conversation. Apparently I'm a thread killer or something. >> Happens a lot. ;3

Tsk. Join in on some Megaman discussions and maybe someone will switch over to Mother. I also wanted to mention a little NES gem called Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu... or was it Monogatari? Either way, it's a 2-on-2 tournament-style fighting game made by Technos in the style of River City Ransom, and it has much the same feel to it. The only drawback is that a pure speedrun of this game would be repetitive and boring instead of artistic and awesome.

Gargoyles Quest 2, maybe? It's got pretty complicated movement, but could be cool. Magic of Sheherazade could be done, but I've only played it for about 5 minutes. It might wind up being recieved like Crystalis in stead of like Zelda. Master Chu and the Drunkard Hu maybe? It'd probably be a simple task, if I recall the game correctly. But it could go either way. Orb-3D might be doable. It's a unique game.

I think Willow would be rather tedious to watch. Tons of leveling up involved unless you can glitch yourself out from it :P

This is all stuff that is improvable with effort and research and all that. You obviously want to see one - that's an essential part of someone who will make the TAS. I see it as pointless to put on several different threads about "Hey maybe someone should TAS this game ;3 ;3 ;3" "Yeah that'd be neat if someone TASed this game :3 :3" and then flat out refuse to even try to get the ball rolling yourself when no one is interested in it.

Interesting claim since you also started the thread six months ago.

A game that definately needs a TAS is G.I. Joe - The Atlantis Factor

Someone, not me, could do Low G Man. It does have potential.

I actually started a run of this game, but I stopped after a route assumption I made out of memory of the game turned out not to be correct. Granted the levels I have already done would probably be in the fastest route anyways; I just got lazy. If you want to look at what i've done, you are more than welcome to. Just let me know.

Fester's Quest. Athena. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Bubble Bobble 2. Frankenstein. Jurassic Park. Pretty sure none of them have been TASed yet, but I could be wrong. ;3

Q*BERT I know that chances are it's not going to be TASed; I just felt the need to mention it anyway.

All of these would make incredibly boring TASes. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I know it's not the purpose of the site, but I think it would be fun to have a Tas of every game that exist, even if not a lot of person would be watching it. Some viewer might enjoy a game they played a lot when they were child and I think it would be nice anyway.

I don't think Jurassic Park would be any more boring than the SNES version. Which was fairly boring to me. ;3 If there is a game I'd consider trying to TAS though, it would be Galaxy 5000, or Bubble Bobble 2. I have intimate knowledge of both games. Of course...I never beat Bubble Bobble 2 without dying or using Continues. >> Galaxy 5000 would probably be the easier of the two. Guess I'll have to think about it for a while... Not promising anything though... EDIT: I was playing some Galaxy 5000 so I could get familiar with it again. Haven't really lost my touch at it. But I don't understand HOW to TAS anyway. Re-Recording sounds far too complicated for such a simple person as me. Unfortunately, I will probably need a new controller, and that probably won't be happening for a good while. My current one has started to malfunction and short out. I refuse to use a Keyboard since that will just hurt my hands.
