Vagrant Story is an action RPG developed and published by Square for the PS1 in 2000. It follows the story of Ashley Riot, who sets off to explore Leá Monde and the catacombs underneath in order to defeat Guildenstern. Uniquely for an RPG, there are no shops or friendly NPCs, instead focusing on weapon creation and modification, as well as elements of puzzle-solving and strategy.
