I'm using the emulator DeSmuME 0.9.4+ svn2964 x86 and I had an interesting problem. I am doing a Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time TAS (also trying to do no boss fights) and I am trying to kind of segment it, since I don't want it's music playing in the background when I do other things. To do this once I'm done with a part I make a special save state as a file so it shouldn't get lost, and I end the recording. When I start again I start recording and load from that. When I went to view my latest one (currently only part 3) it seemed to have the controls be pressed separate to the game itself, eg, the game would go from the start menu late and my characters would repeatedly run into corners. I thought that it was because of the save, so I loaded after I started playing the video and the same thing happened. Just to be sure I watched the video before this where I used that technique and there were no problems. That part was 23000 frames long (minus the 7777 frames of the last 2). Yes I didn't record it in the AVI format. Sorry if this is not the place for a bug like this so can you please move this if it isn't? Also, I looked through the fixes of it and none seem to work for me.

Why don't you simply use one movie file? To continue, simply load the movie file and load the savestate with your latest progress and continue TASing.

Oh, I thought that it stopped recording and if I recorded over it would destroy everything from before. I'll do that from now on, but for now how can I fix it?
