I am suuuuper impressed by this run, I can't believe you guys came up with a new strategy that literally obliterated the old one. Amazing work! OBVIOUS YES

I played that hack to completion (+ save states for the end of the game). Seeing that someone spent time doing a 100% TAS of that game made quite excited and I ended up spending the following 2h watching the video. Though some purists will probably say that the TAS itself isn't good enough (you can more or less see ways to optimize a few sections), I totally support you and congratulate you one more time for this amazing and entertaining work! Thanks :)

Really impressive! These glitches are making the game so much shorter I can't believe it! (Also it's interesting to see what's happening under the hood when you go to places you are not supposed to go to...). Was there absolutely no way to skip the boss at the end? (I suppose there isn't since the cinematic/transition gets triggered right when you kill him...). Maybe there's a way to optimize his pattern here: - make sure you can make him fall almost right after he gets back on track - avoid long round trips for the giant ball

Oh right... duh -.-" (Time for me to replay my classics) EDIT: Just watched part3. I think "insane" is the right word... Amazing work!

Have you guys considered getting one of the secret shines in Pianta Village? http://www.mariowiki.com/Pianta_Village#Episode_10:_Soak_the_Sun

I might be repeating myself too much, but as this being one my favorite-game-ever, see your work just amaze me. Extraordinary TAS, you managed to find tricks I've never seen before and everything runs smoothly. All my congratulations (y) Snowboard phase: It's clearly not obvious for the normal viewer, but it can totally imagine how much time you might have spent here... Also the huge shortcut wasn't expected at all... just wow. One question though: Could you detail very fast what happens after the fight against E102? It seems like Tails disappear from nowhere and get teleported into the cut-scene. From here, you basically run directly to the next level even though the camera is still stuck by the cutscene. Just... how? :D

A cool xmas gift would be to have the TAS go below 5 minutes :)

^ It probably was a problem with youtube. Yes vote! Very entertaining and as far as I can say, it seems pretty optimized (Mario keep moving all the time).

Is it only me or the uploaded video is not showing anything? I will edit this post with my vote as soon as it gets fixed.

Oui c'était vraiment fantastique. Ma plus grande surprise n'était pas le jeu que je connais par coeur, mais plutôt de voir quelqu'un d'aussi jeune et déterminé!

Hey got4n, after seeing a commented run of your TAS, I must say that you did a great job here... congratulations! Too bad it couldn't be done on PC or PSX though. I used to play this game when I was a kid, and also mapped billions of levels via Rayman Designer (on a Windows 95/98). Thanks for the nostalgia moments ;)

So stoked to see your latest work... Go for it :D (TASing Sonic & Tails stories would already be awesome).

Nicely done! The beginning looks more like a "perfect" super play until the two last worlds where the glitches performed are just amazing.

Fantastic work, I really wondered what kind of glitch will be used in contrast with the 64 version... and I was very surprised. I can't vote yet but it's all YES =)

Oh gosh these Sonic speedruns are so incredible ! The wall ride trick is what players ARE expecting from a true sonic game : P Need a full-length tas of this game ^^
