i downloaded the latest version of gens under tasvideos downloads today to watch these and i'm pretty sure i have the right ROM (it's (U) [!]) yet the spear dude run always seems to desync after the second boss fight; he always stands just a bit too far to the right of the red sphere to actually pick it up and you can see where things go from there tried 41khz sound settings, allowed left+right input, both controllers are set to 6 button, what gives?

bits of a processor = the size of what it considers to be one word (small pack of bits, usually the largest unit of storage it can perform a single operation with, without needing to chop things up) and the metric system sucks ass for measuring storage space, keep to them powers of 2 yo

Hi, would you please explain what is interesting about doing a "speedrun" without, um, speed? For me, that was the essence of boredom. Also, 45 second "intro" to the actual movie can be shortened to about 5, to everyone's benefit.
excuse US buddy, some people happen to have had their LIVES SAVED by an intensive regimen of powerwalking and these INSPIRATIONAL RUNS happen to be what got some of us on the ROAD TO RECOVERY

same deal as with the controller 2 stuff in megaman 3; people won't want to approve a run of it with that method unless you can make a run that does really cool-looking stuff (i.e. not just saving 2 frames or whatever) and loses a lot from being unable to use controller 2 (entertainment value here, mm3 runs lose a lot of time without controller 2 but everyone finds runs with it boring so they don't care)

INTJ 89/12/88/1 very expressed introvert slightly expressed intuitive personality very expressed thinking personality slightly expressed judging personality the best part is probably how i pretty much only speak when spoken to outside of the interwebs, wonderful and good lord does this thing need so many repetitions of the same few questions, only so many ways you can say "you like crowds"

there is a difference between using an AR and using methods that are actually robust (e.g. enjoy not having a virtual analog stick and such)

who knows, maybe those malfunctions entail random orgasms and the band's rep (and booty supply) would be saved

i assumed that the story sequences had been edited out of the avi (i haven't watched the run yet or played ng2 that far to know that they're skippable) for convenience, alas

ending seemingly midway through is done for the same reason as runs such as track & field do it; no sense in keeping an endless game going after you've achieved your purpose in it

maybe it'd do good to have a trimmed-down (i.e. skipping the long-ass score tallies) avi, a la ninja gaiden 2's recent publication?

there's no sense in making people register just to basically say "lol X movie rules/sucks," go for it edit: ah wait, misinterpreted the topic, well in that case people should get to choose whether their votes are public

not everyone knows the formula for translating from hertz to cycles though and since this is done in frame advance anyway, would it matter whether you either changed the cycles midway through making a movie or used a different amount of cycles than what the movie was made in, as long as both speeds are fast enough to keep the game from lagging at different points?
