Seems well optmized, a bit repetitive, yes, but still the good, the weapon management makes it entertaining enough for me.

Well, I would say it has potential indeed, you can skip the entire helicopter level and go direct to stage 3, shaving I think like, 5 minutes from the auto scroll level? somewhere there is a exit and since I didnt learn much about reading memory data and thoses stuffs I will try explain the best way how I found an exit on this glitch. while descending the glitch many times you will be stuck because of thoses invisible walls, specially when bumping some of them, your character will not move at all. My guess about the exit is that it might be possible to find it if it has a memory value or something (not sure if said it right). Or by my experienc researching the glitch area, you might have to face dr derange once or twice in the glitch to make the exit available, but not sure about this one but when researching I only reached it when defeating him, but defeating him on the glitched stage is pretty hard, requires a lot of manipulation to have a favorable terrain for you also the game will lag a lot on thoses fights and will even crash when reaching a certain place (but the crash is pretty rare) . Thats all I remember, hope someone can do it to improve the run. Also the exit I mentioned might be found before having to have any fight on the glitch stage?

Level 1-3 has piqued my curiosity. It looks like using the roll makes you invulnerable to lava. If that is the case, then you should have saved your roll power to the latest parts, where taking damage really seems to slow you down. I haven't played the game, so is this true that rolling makes you lava-proof?
it doesnt make you invulnerable, the opposite, you take damage even faster while rolling on the lava but there is a glitch where you can touch the lava ground on the first frame while rolling then if you jump you can avoid the damage, if you notice closely he bounces and fly above the lava, he doesnt roll on it.

Well its good to see an improviment of course but I think the use of taking damage took the challenge of making some nice stunts to avoid enemys and some enviroments, for example, 1-3 you could have saved some roll to use it on the lava pool because if you roll on the lava and quickly press jump in the frame you hit the lava you can jump being propeled a bit saving a bit of time and without taking damage also the entertaiment factor has to be considered, for example at 4-2, the only autoscrooler stage... you just stand still while waiting the screen proceed, you could have used some roll stunts and there are many invisible plataforms, you can even enter inside some wagons and collect some coins( or diamonds I dont know) and some lives. considering its a 4 years old run and tools have evolved from there you might could have saved more time instead of just 4 seconds, and I can sense most of this time saver comes from the alternate exite from 1-2... Sorry but this one doesn't make me vote Yes, but instead a No... you sure did a good work but some parts just look sloopy.

Heyaie Brandon, jays, just watched the run, it was lovely to see such an awful game known from its dificult being so delicious to watch, the optmization was cleary superb, only small improviments left as you said as lag manipulation but of course it seems a pretty hard one to optmize, also the entertaiment was very good, Gambit part was the best due to drum cards and the headbang, plus the best music in the game congratz for that you two guys.

Just watched the Draft, its seem pretty good for me, however, I noticed somethings I would like to obviously ask. On Storm stage level 2, there is a part where you are avoiding 2 enemys beams, it increases entertaining but also increased lag, was this intentional? On the same stage, on boss battle, if I remember, there is a room to the right where you can pick another lightniing bomb right? maybe I'm wrong but if there is really another bomb, maybe you could spend the 2 ones you have to hit the top part of the boss while the water is still going up, swim there pick the bomb and then finish him? Hope it helps.

Yay nice to see our Mass Encoder are now in TAS business too, watched it, I really belive there is a lot of luck manipulation and a lot of effort went into it to endure all this long work, most cases looking how careful he was to make his way with good strategies and careful manipulation... congratz Brandon, as I can see it surely will be accepted, turned out great.

I raise hands to see a "bad ending" category, since it will give a diferent loook on how the Saber is used on the last stages and make faster way throught the bosses.

Heye man, nice to see progress going on, but I got a question... Based on the last encode by Brandom, at 9:50 you grab a huge ruby, it makes your lifebar orange, as well IF I'm right it increase your firepower as well, because you need 2 shots to kill normal enemys and after you grab da ruby you just kill in one shot, so MAYBE the damage increase can be used on the boss as well, even being around 8 shots if I remember well but it can already save some time right? Also at 8:03-8:05 you make a jump but hits the wall a bit, maybe you can jump on the last enemy plataform without touching the enemy to make a jump? if its possible of course.

I'm not sure about this description, since Dragon's Lair came first in 1983 as an arcade game, while Super Mario Bros. got released first in 1985. What made this arcade game a classic is the fact actual gameplay looked like this. Besides this game, you had games such as Pac-Man.
Hmm, I didnt know the release date difference, so this one got his own title atributes, no plagiarism, good to know this.

hmm, well this one is at the list of ideias, its sure not the best plataform but it was pretty optmazed, so I think it can overcome the bad game title.

A good description for this movie could begin with something like... In this game *overstrike*Mario*overstrike*Dirk have to rescue princess *overstrike*Peach*overstrike*Daphne from the clutchs of *overstrike*Bowser*overstrike*Singe's... very creative plot line huh!?...

Heye John, nice its finally done, well I dont have doubts about the run since I was accompanning most WIP's, the run went quicker than I tought, yet on the hardest dificult, a lot optmazed, without thoses adresses I'm pretty sure it could have been slower, I'm a lot busy but if people got questions about this one I ---maybe--- can help answer them. about the dificult I think it fitted well, showing how limitated the damage abuse is, obviously a easier dificult should make the run faster ,however, it surely should look sloopy abusing damage after damage yet without any challenging. on the last stages I loved the fact you avoided that pesky cloud with a jet boost damage, it was impressive, the bosses fights were a lot funny to watch, also the skip from the first boss barely hitting him, yet the run being very optmazed, since I helped a bit I know what I'm talking about, each jump was precise, since you couldn't jump before ledges because it was a lot slower, the pulls in the ropes were totally optmazed, on every stage it saved time, on a stage the faster pull rope saved a lot of time, you avoided a enemy that is normally very hard to avoid on real gameplay, also somes shurikens shots that hit Singe's head on somes offscreen shots, yet using them to boost yourself forward Also it was pleasant to work along with you, it was nice to meet you, very friendly and kindly, I dont have any regret to have worked along with you, hope to see more runs from ya. err... also a Yes vote. obviously.

Hmm, watched, read the submission text, yet its a hard one to vote... the pictures itself were nice, others werent, but also there were more minigames, I feel like a Wario Ware, yet it was pretty nice to watch, however, I dont felt so charmed by the pictures itself, most of the simple one removed the enchant of the run... Meh from me.

A 2P version should be faster than 1P? since on boss fight it seems they get a small vulnerability time due to character not being able to reach him to keep hitting?

Hmm would like to see a 100% version as well, would be nice to see how all stages/routes are choosen. I recommend as SS the last boss fight where the boss traps himself on the bombs, it happens twice, so one of them are good for ss in my opinion, also how about add low % completion as tag since it chooses the fastest route(?) in-game yet leaving plenty of the game untouched?

Thats a very good idea you got but sadly, by the time i get to his face, he does two things that refrain me from doing so. First he shoots fireballs then he swings towards me. So what i did his, got close enough to then used the "Backward Webshot" wich is simply shooting one frame, at the opposite direction i am holding, while in mid-air. When doing this while on a ledge, i can perform the BW without jumping so this helped me a-lot in not missing a chance to shoot.
Hmm I see now, hmm then how about trying a close jump on the last shots before destroying the boss? IF its possible to hit him before his fireballs hit you? and is web-swing stronger than web-shots?
