The glitch used in that room location, level 2 access ark, would save a minute IGT in MKR. Depending on how it behaves, it would also potentially save time with any autoscroller, background for foreground element or generally break the game. It could save anywhere between 5 seconds to tens of minutes in the 3DS kirby games.

Forgive me if this is the incorrect board or if these kinds of threads are not acceptable on TASvideos. Feel free to remove the thread if either of these are the case. I'm putting a $200 USD paypal bounty on finding a glitch in Meta Knightmare Returns mode of Kirby: Planet Robobot on Nintendo 3ds. The glitch should allow you to get to and enter the background door of this room faster than the intended method of waiting for the screen to scroll to the right then left again. http://i.imgur.com/imbb1DO.png It doesn't need to affect this room alone, it can affect any other autoscroller or foreground to background element. So long as it ends with allowing you to finishing the autoscroller room a significantly faster time than without the trick or glitch, I'll accept it. The bounty stands until something involving this glitch is found. For all time if necessary. Here are some potential ideas: Z axis Background warpstar storage Hasten autoscrolling Freeze or slow down the in game timer. Recommend tools: Citra 3ds emulation software and advanced RAM snapshot and comparison tools Pre-existing Glitches: Many videos available on youtube. wing flap can cause a sword swing double sound effect. Touch damage sword swings deal 0 damage to enemies shortly afterward. shuttle loop raises you up 3 blocks. Able to get off the screen on area 1 boss fight. Drop platform slide glitch. Written explanation of the glitch, video footage of said glitch occurring and thread creator verification of functionality is required to collect this bounty. Also, if a timer glitch is found akin to metroid fusion's lower IGT pause buffering glitch, I will offer $25 to the finding party. Works in Triple Deluxe: additional $50 Exists yet saves no time in a speedrun setting: Base payout of $100 Works only with kirby: Base payout of $100 Works with both characters: $200 EDIT1: I had intended to not post this on TASvideos, but as of doing so I'd like to iterate that I'd like this glitch to be possible humanly and on official hardware. I'm testing these on hardware action for action. Tried 5 different times and got crashes, but none into mario bros. GBA SP US is most likely not possible. Will update with GB player info soon. Edit 1: Also I did try bizhawk to replicate the glitch but found no way to make mario a barrel. Sign glitch behaves different on pc emulation and enters a useless loop where barrel hop command on luigi is on console. Edit 2: Not possible on gameboy player either, same kind of crash as gba sp, violent screech. Wii U crashes are much different.

Perhaps eating another enemy or object such as a blargg, boo, block would give a greater item id pool.

That reminds me, you can also give mario a break out of barrel icon with luigi spin jump. Is it possible to combine it with the credits glitch for more consistent results?

okay, so I found a way on emulator to get big mario fire hand and it lets you do all the essential speedrun glitches. However the ID's are all different on console so I'm having trouble getting luigi a barrel break icon and not having the right one means you do barrel storage again 4 times, ugh. This is the method I have working on emulator starting from a successful luigi ACG. press R 10 times (or 7, jump on and press 4),jump off, pound and emerge. Break barrel, go to sign and switch bros, press l 4 times, set mario in back to hammer, use luigi spin jump to jump on, press r 5 times, jump off, press r until you get a 2nd hole icon, hammer mario, press a to make a 2nd luigi appear with a blank icon, go to a [!] sign, switch in front and press l once, mario should have an X icon. Switch, hit mario with hammer twice and he should now have fire hand. I have no idea how to record a video of this without mistakes. EDIT: you can do sign glitch on console with any blank icon, there's probably an easier way to get spin jump luigi EDIT2: found one. barrel glitch with both front and back bros with hammers, jump off and switch to hammer behind, break out of barrel in front, go to the sign and switch, press l 8 times, switch, mario spin jump on and off, switch, press l 2 times for spin jump on luigi in back. EDIT3: GOT IT ON CONSOLE! set mario in front to jump and in back to hammer, spin jump on mario and press r 15 times, you now have the hole icon. hammer mario and pop out luigi, go to the sign and switch, press l once, same X, switch back and hammer him twice. Voilla! Link to video this glitch can also get you firebrand on mario in front. One more thing: the file I tested this on had super hammers early, so that might be a snafu in this glitch showcase, but I assume it affects nothing. Firebrand on US is 2 R button presses.

Oh sorry, I literally emailed and copied these notes from my iphone. Just have luigi set to hammer in the front row before you pound him into the ground. Getting hand is easy and lets you go get super hammers and airport and stuff, but the deeper stuff really looks like it has potential. Love your work BTW :)

Hey all, I'm Theguesst. I've been working with altabiscuit for the last week or so on some lighter superstar saga glitches. I've found glitches and done routing for my first speedrunning game, strider 2014, and have decided to do so for this game as well. I'm trying to find ways to make the us version faster than it currently is. I read up on the knowlegebase, alta's streams and mugg's videos. I've found a few quirks here and there and put them on my youtube. However, I was messing around with barrel glitch in chuckehuck woods yesterday and found a way to get action command glitch with luigi in front and back, and mario in front (but not in back yet which is what would lead to hat glitch early and such). I am going to provide instructions here; maybe one of you guys can find a way to get glitchy movement or back row mario ACG. I sure hope they make sense without a video yet. All the work has been done on emulator so real hardware testing will be necessary. spin jump on front luigi: barrel store with hammers, jump off, press r 2 times(hammer icon) pound and emerge, press r twice High jump on front luigi:barrel store again, jump off, press r 3 times, pound and emerge, press r twice speech bubble on front luigi:barrel store again, press r twice, jump of and press r once. At surfboard jump, pound and emerge, press r once for speech bubble, barrel store again, jump off and you should now have ACG Glitch for barrel explosion storage: from start of ACG 7 r button presses, get on, press 4 r, get off, pound and emerge Luigi spin jump. Part of barrel explosion. After the explosion, your icon is blank. go to the sign and switch in front to get another action command glitch, this one is silent. 4 presses of l = spin jump. (you can also have high jump and barrel storage with this method, will crash if facing non diagonal) Pound and emerge or mario spin jump to give luigi spin jump. Jump on and press R to give mario ACG in front. PS: I hope this wasn't already known and does nothing :( PPS: is there a skype community or something I can join in?
