I have every single Turok game on the N64 and would eventually like to see TAS for all of them just for the hell of it. Yes Vote ;D

Well, it's good to see that the idea is at least being considered in some form. I would be glad to help in some way, but it will require me to learn some more technical knowledge in terms of how encoding works.

Well, I'm just going to throw this out there since I receive a PM from someone asking me what my "Idea" was. It was in refference to a post I made in the Donkey Kong Land 2 topic (currently in the Workbench). So, here was the response I made in that PM that I thought I would go ahead and share with everyone. Somehow, I'm certain this has come up before though.

What's your idea? I'm curious and impatient :D
Ah, I haven't started visiting this site often enough to respond quickly. The idea is simple, but problematic in terms of who would be willing to do it. If someone could create a seperate mirror/server/section for the rejected movies (given that no such game exists on the website already), it could be useful. The section could be called something like "Non-Published/improvable runs". It would obviously be seperate from the fully published runs or it would be a contradiction. It could also be open-source, where other users could contribute or try to improve on it. This section would make knowledge of it's existence more aparent, AND more aparent that SOME effort was made on it. Sadly, I can easily see how this could be argued down, but I'd rather not go into details just now. It's just a possibility I though about. So yeah, let me know what you think about this concept, or tell me if it has come up before somewhere else.

I voted yes, mostly because of the odd nostalgia I got from the days I played this on my Gameboy Pocket and me liking that yellow cartidge as a kid. The run was not so bad either. Honestly, I say allow this run to be published, giving others an incentive to improve it. (That's one thing that gets me sometimes about submissions being rejected. If something doesn't seem quite good enough and no such run exists yet, it doesn't give nearly enough people the opportunity to see it and say "hmm, maybe I could improve on this".) That last tibit was more or less a rant, something that could easily be countered, but that's fine. I have an idea to propose sometime later.

Well, this would be the second SOR3 submission (that I know of), that will likely get rejected. I urge you to try a 2P run if possible since that's the only thing that most people feel would be worthwhile for SOR3. AtroCity did try a 2P run in the past, but never finished it (try searching for it). It had a LOT of potential, but other things got in the way (real life situations obviously). So, I can only support the idea, but you would have to be interested in doing it. EDIT: Well here it is http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1814 Definitely be sure to look at the history, but in short, AstroCity completely gave up on the run and the latest update is in his signature (up to stage 5-2). At any rate, that's all I can do really, stake my interest in the potential for something on behalf of BK3/SOR3.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely need it. I've been doing more gamerips than gameplay lately, but I will more than certain play this this game for research purposes if not anything else. Good luck to anyone else who tries to do this.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone was still working on this TAS or if anyone has even started. I'm going to look at this game as well.

Well then, I encourage you to kill that damn Yamato. I know it's sometimes hard (I mean lazy-ing) to program dancing while playing good, but I think that's the last time you will have to, so don't give up. REPOST EDIT : Ok now, I'm sorry if I may sound rude, but I want Yamato taken down fast. I WANT MY TAS OF SOR3 SO BAD I'LL BE MAD!
Don't worry, I would like this TAS done as much as the next person, but it's interesting that it was this whole ordeal that inspired me to do a Streets of Rage 3 geamerip in the first place. So you see, there's inspiration from this yet to be seen.

Good. Anyway I wanted to give a little tip : I didn't know how I made that, and I don't think I'll be able to do it again, but Blaze (it can be any other player I don't know) just went through the car. I moved a little bit in front of the car, then I didn't move until the car went through me. It would be nice to see some kind of things like that. Anyway I deleted by mistake the third of 4-1 and your link is dead, can I have the run on the internet from anybody here please?
Here's a link to the file. I hope it's alright to do this. http://s48.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=33FINNI5LFHQU2NVG5E2YZGQHB Let me know if this link does not work.
