It would be great to see a MK1 glitchfest. There is a lot of stuff in youtube by Parallax and I wonder what looking into the game's memory could reveal. There's something that already looks like ACE when you perform a sequence of inputs against Shang Tsung while playing as Raiden so you make the AI to perform Sonya's Fatality mid fight. There's also the Cage's 3 heads fatality glitch that could be figured out. The 2 heads fatality is something very common, but for 3 heads you need a very rare glitch that delays the announcement of the winner, making the message "Cage Wins" to also be delayed, what gives extra time for a 3rd fatality to be performed. The trick here is to figure out what causes the delay to happen.

That juggle at 05:20 in the video reminds me of Eyedol,s 80 hit combo in Arcade's Killer Instinct. Yes vote.

Damn! Nice stuff! If you're going to make a new version of the run then I'd really like to see as much music syncing as possible. That was one of my favorite parts of your run along with the playaround in the train stage.

Yo, Guys! Not sure if this is known, but someone posted a mp4 for a glitch in an off topic thread in discord. I decided to try and reproduce it and it was pretty easy. Maybe this has some ACE potential. Link to video Use Snes9x 1.51 v7 to play the file. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/59097266300405896 Edit: Sorry if there is a topic for this game already. I couldn't find it. Also, in first time I managed to reproduce this oob trick, before recording it, the oob blocks were much closer. I just fell for like 1 or 2 seconds and the blocks were there.

Hey, Tompa! I was watching your wip and was wondering if you tested this: When you get the fireman uniform you walk a long way before beeing able to start running. Have you considered jumping to the top area and use the slope there to get speed going to the left and then change direction?

Seems like there's something wrong with the file. Don't know the game, but at a certain point, probably the end of the game, I get a Game Over. Probably the input was ended too early or it was a descync. Tried it with the same emulator the submission says the game was recorded with.

Hey, guys! I've been trying to reproduce the 3 heads fatality glitch for Johnny Cage in MK1. In order for that to work there's a very specific event that needs to happen which is a "Johnny Cage Wins" message delay. This delay gives you extra time for a 3rd fatality instead of just the regular 2. Thing is nobody knows what causes this behavior and there's only one video in youtube with it. If I somehow record this event with mame-rr would it be possible to study the game's memory to understand what triggers the glitch or this version of the emulator lacks the needed tools for such research? Does anybody has any idea, by experience with other kinds of glitches, of what could be causing this?

SUPERMETROIDFTP made an excellent Lua script video for the 100% TAS that can help understanding what actually happens in some situations where this is not visible:
Would it be possible to adapt this script to show the actual game and characters instead of white sprites and hitboxes? It would be cool to see the whole run from a "further back" point of view and it shows what's happening during the offscreen action.

Yes vote. I really liked the run and it's a shame we can't see what happens in some ocasions where the camera doesn't follow Samus. As there is the fixed graphics it would be cool to have some kind of editing that would show what happens offscreen. Given that the idea of the fixed graphics scrip is to get rid of the mess and help to understand better what's going on I don't think it would be a problem to even have some kind of video editing to show what's going on during the offscreen moments if the script can't show it for itself.
