Interestingly, the manual doesn't talk about how to select either quest. Also one of the cracked versions explicitly says that everyone was cracking part 1 while missing part 2 that's on the other side. The main problem is, we need the original to tell for sure.
I had the Original Amiga version, and the floppy has two sides. If you insert the floppy by side A, you load one of the quests. If you insert the floppy by the other side, you load the second one. I always loved and hated this game. The hate is because I felt it was impossible to beat without using a cheat (back then called trainers) to give myself infinite health.

Good improvement!! The previous run is still well-worth watching for the mind-numbing incredible dynamite play that is lost here. You should add that this run uses death as a shortcut, too.

I only played the Adventure Game Studio remake, and I thought there were far more variations in rooms. Is this a limitation of the Coleco port, or were they added in the remake? The AGS game is superb, by the way.

I like the amateurish cartoony look of this game. The glitches are also quite cool. Yes vote.

This looks more like a bad dream than a videogame. Does it count as a bullet hell?

Voting yes because this one was thought to be unimprovable.

I was going to vote yes, but the catwoman fight after input end was a letdown and makes the run look incomplete. I would have preferred to see a good ending.

Is it possible to hardware verify TASes in the Game Boy Color?

I plan to watch and rewatch, even if the end result becomes just glitchy gibberish with constant zelda-ish low-health beeps.

I just leave this game suggestion there for when the day arrives and Bizhawk finally officially supports C64 emulation The Sacred Armour of Antiriad: Wikipedia article This is a metroidvania game that predates Metroid. You are a human living in a post-civilization era after mankind destroyed it in stupid wars. When aliens invade the world and enslave humanity, your only chance of salvation is to search for a legendary armour that was often mentioned in the tales of the elders: the armour of Antiriad (a corruption of the word anti-radiation). However, you will also have to find some missing pieces to restore it to full power, so that you are able to blow up the alien headquarters and bring freedom to your species. ACE could be used to accelerate the game ending sequence so that it ends earlier than the other run. ACE could be used to create a Newgame+ mode and beat it as fast as possible, starting from a verified savestate. ACE could be used to code another FF game and then it would become a TAS that beats both games, deserving its own category.

I feel very weird when I listen to Bach Toccata e Fugue in D minor in those Greek temples.

As a prank it is pretty good. Spend 6 years of your life to slowly reach 40% of the mystical perfect run, then see how someone obliterates the remaining 60% of the game after merely 6 hours of trying.

What is wrong with the encode?
I think there is nothing wrong with the encode. The game is naturally that laggy. I will vote meh if only because this cheap knockoff of a hare cannot even hop right. It's first up and then down, not first down and then up. :p EDIT: Upgraded to yes for riding a wooden train.

Yes because of totally broken antics, but I don't like the use of codes.

You forgot to include "Beats Up a Dinosaur (with a Dude Riding It)" in the game goals. It's not as good as "Colors a Dinosaur", but it's pretty close.
Had he frozen it, it would have fit the category.

In the commodore version, at least, you can die from the portcullis that falls on floor 2.

I see this game has a timer. Should runs of this game aim for in-game time instead of real time, then?

Yes vote. By the way, I've never seen another game (that I can recall at least) where the BGM couldn't keep up with a simple screen transition without skipping slightly.
Then I presume you have not watched The Cheetahmen yet.
