I downloaded several videos from this website but I was not able to play them. I tried using FCEU but it didn't work. Any help on this topic will be greatly appreciated, THX! [Edit by moderator: Removed extravagant markup.]

you need 3 things to play the fcm file: fceu, which is the emulator, the associated ROM file, which is the game you're going to emulate, and the movie file (the fcm). Once you've got all the pieces in place, load the ROM in FCEU, then select File -> Replay Move and select the movie file. That should do it :) (if all else fails, if it's a published movie, grab the AVI)

there is only one program to play .fcm movies, and that's FCEU. You'll also need the corresponding ROM of the game. Unfortunately, you were so busy bolding your text that you completely forgot to give an actual error description which could allow us to help you. Try the FAQ.

Thank you very much for replying so promptly. I wasn't really aware that bold text was considered offensive, I just like writing in bold text, please accept my apologies. As to the specific error, I just received a pop-up that stated something along the lines of "Unable to load file" after I tried to open the .fcm file directly with the "File=>Open" option of FCEU, now I know that I need the ROM loaded as well, I will try what you guys suggested me and take it from there, hopefully, I won't need any more troubleshooting. UPDATE: I load the ROM but I don't have the option "Replay Movie" when I click on "File" after the ROM is loaded.

Are you sure you have the right version of FCEU?

This is what I get at "Help->About...": FCE Ultra 0.98.12 http://fceultra.sourceforge.net 02:53:48 Aug 28 2004 gcc 3.2.3 (mingw special 20030504-1) I downloaded this version from sourceforge because I use Win XP Pro, do you guys use a newer/more complete version maybe? If so, where can I download it from?

Buy using the FAQ you would have found the emulator that you require to play the movie file.
