Barrel is 1 frame slower than guy because it would require to delay a frame to get the same subpos and it would be slower.

Comparison time with time of picking up the flower. My last uploaded movie: 5296 11278 (level 3 first fall lag: 12856) This movie (with feos' level 1): 5286 11268.
Note that this route doesn't takes the "better" Y pos by boosting differently at ~8758 (bird at rope). Taking it would make it 1 frame slower due to lag. I've already got so bad lag frames after the 3 rings around 9332.
Level 3 started with same subposes so it's 1 frame slower than the guy. As far as I see, it's only possible by losing 1 frame and tweak subpos at boss fight 1.

Removed a lag frame from level 3. Boss pattern changed so redid. No HP loss in this level, because it doesn't saves frame anywhere.

Currently implemented optimizations from me: - optimizing "grapp target" jumping offs - abusing a position/subpixel trick to throw crates as fast as possible (removing 1 frame of direction 16 frames earlier of doing that action) - lag frame removing like a boss (carefully making actions) - pogo stick mania at level 1 after crates instead of ducking - movement optimizing mostly on ropes - different route at 2 places (stone at level 3 and level 3 boss) because of pattern change
Added feos's level 4 part (a bit synced until ~18133, ropes...)

So... a fake difficulty game that I destroy by manipulating the spawn of enemies. One could easily remove all enemies from the game by positioning and different actions done by P1.
The developers were heroin addict if you ask me.

I was able to save 10 frames on room 1 by dashing through sparky instead of jumping through it which saves a lot of lag frames too. The only problem is, that it generates much more lag frames in the early part of room 2, therefore I couldn't preserve any improvements.
What I'm trying to achieve is resync the RNG (jumping an extra time before sparky) and sacrifice as many (lag) frames as required to avoid the lag frames on room 2 early part.
Note that the movie only edited to 1330th frame (you need to remove 10 frames before room 2's input part).

Try to use mugg's or Masterjun's lua script. For whatever reason, the game doesn't wants me to start running with "top" speed at the slope.

Comparison to my previous movie: - 4 frames improved by better boosting and lag frame removing at room1 (exits 4 frames faster) - 4 frames improved by better lag frame removing (exits 4 frames faster, 8 total) - Nasty lag frames everywhere.... wall clipping optimizible, probably saves the improvements back.

This version based on Masterjun's latest attempt.
- Lag frames avoided by swallowing 3 enemies at room 1 (avoiding the lag caused by taking damage/creaure explode), sacrificing position and using Masterjun's lua script I avoided more frames, making to the exit in 1344 (1348 for Masterjun, 1347 for my earlier "1 frame improvement"). >> 4 frames
- I think somewhere I got an extra speed in the early part of room 2. Some lag frames avoided. Exits at 1871 (1876 for Masterjun) >> 5 frames
- RNG changed a little bit. overall: 2178 frames (2183 for Masterjun)
Possible improvements... - Different approach to "cliff" at end of room 1? - Different jumping to "cliff" at end of room 2? - Different slope wallclipping before warping?
