By performing the major skip glitch to skip Necrum Fleeches, Mudomo Vaults and Mudanchee vaults, according the RAM addrss I have saved 29,487 frames over the published run so far. I will improve on the pause menuing shortly.
Over 2 minutes faster in-game time than the current published run to this point. Looking good so far. For the rings to appear, I need to do a small screen reset by riding the platform up and down. This will allow me to complete the game. I'm getting closer now.
I am 179 frames ahead of my test run. Got a perfect Slog RNG towards the end. Had to jump a few frames later in the secret area to get good RNG. Hopefully those Paramites in Paramonia will have good RNG this time.
I have knocked off four seconds of frames up to this point comparing to my test run done back in September-October. Time to deal with some Sligs and then with that Slog RNG at the end of the level. I will upload a video when I reach the end of Monsaic Lines.
#28106894593546424 - 28 Rescues - 153 Frames Ahead Over My Test Run
I have now saved 153 frames ahead of my test run and now I am ready to TAS Stockyards. Most the rescues are similar to Dooty's old PCSX run. I am very happy with the progress going so far. Some of the rescues had to be changed slightly because the Mudokon who's far behind would always get killed by the meat saw, so a few frames had to be added so that the Mudokon won't get killed by the saw. Other than that, looking good so far.
#27967945370179363 - 25 Rescues - 121 Frames Ahead of my test run
Run is going smoothly. There is a difference between the first loading time between PCSX. On Bizhawk it took over 100 frames to load. On PCSX it takes 60 frames to load. I understand that a more accurate emulator will have better loading times so my final time will be slower than PCSX.
Here is a one second improvement again ahead of my test run and I am up to 12 rescues this time. There are some speed improvements to Mudokons 9 and 10. They both attach together and go into the portal together. In the test run, they went one after another.
