Created by a Japanese comedian who hated video games, Takeshi no Chousenjou (also referred to as Takeshi's Challenge) was meant to be near impossible to complete. Rumor has it that at one point the player must leave the controller untouched for 1 hour and fight a "final boss" with over 1 million hit-points. Although this isn't true, the game makes no sense, which is why it is so hard to beat.
In this run, illayaya completes the game without using the "scrolling glitch", the only major timesaver in the game. We also have a run demonstrating that glitch.
Created by a Japanese comedian who hated video games, Takeshi no Chousenjou (also referred to as Takeshi's Challenge) is a parody of video games in a similar vein to Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors. The game was meant to be near impossible to complete. Rumor has it that at one point the player must leave the controller untouched for 1 hour and fight a "final boss" with over a million hit-points. Although this isn't true, the game makes no sense, which is why it is so hard to beat.
This run completes the game in under 4 minutes by simply walking off the edge of existence, jumping around in another dimension, and magically ending at the final treasure room. The authors, illayaya and EZGames69 manage to save 2 frames over their previous run.
If you want to see more of the game, we also have a run that forgoes the warp glitch.
The baseline tab shows the default movie beating the game as fast as possible without any special conditions.
