Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog is a ROM hack of Sonic the Hedgehog that replaces Sonic with the character Amy Rose, using her pre-Sonic Adventure design. As she was not a playable character in the classic Sonic games, this romhack gives her the abilities she had in Sonic Advance. While she is slower than Sonic, she can use her Piko Piko Hammer to not only attack enemies but to also jump higher and bounce on enemies with it.
Here, ShiningProdigy9000 smashes and bashes his way with Amy in record time, zipping through levels with the usual Sonic the Hedgehog clipping points.
There are alternate encodes that use a modified emulator that hacks the game camera so it focuses on Amy.
