In the workbench it claims there are three pages for the forum. If you click on page 2 or 3 it claims that "There are no posts in this forum."

Publications with very large movie files (the file inside submission .zip) can apparently fail in nasty way due to out of memory error (it tries to load the entiere movie into memory). This looks to be the reason for the mess relating to publishing 2022M.

http://tasvideos.org/FullRecentChanges.html This page takes almost forever to load in Opera. Rest browsers have no problems.

Opera 12 Beta or 11.62? (Opera 12 Beta is bugged to hell so if so it can be the fault of the browser)

11.62 as well as the older versions down to 10. Didn't test the older ones.

Loaded for me within 3 seconds. Perhaps you have some funny plugin installed? Edit: Subsequent loads take <1 second.

No plugins at all. And this problem lasts for more than a year, during which I reinstalled the system and opera a couple of times.

Maybe there is some caching involved? - I loaded the page in Konqi (very slow). Presumably this might have left something cached? - Loading it again just moments ago was quite fast.

Nope, first time I visited TASVideos in Opera on this computer. As I explained, no cache, <3, with cache, <1.

For the past....well, a long time, the site randomly shows me this: <DOCTYPE> <html><head> <title>500 Internal Server Error</title> </head><body> <h1>Internal Server Error</h1> <p>The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.</p> <p>Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.</p> <p>More information about this error may be available in the server error log.</p>
<address>Apache/2.2.22 (Debian) Server at tasvideos.org Port 80</address> </body></html> I tried IE and Chrome, but both are like that.

The 500 error happens when there's too much server load. The admins are aware of it, but haven't found a solution yet. Just wait a few minutes and try again.

Since the site was moved to a new server earlier today, I have not been getting e-mails for all of the topics I am watching for replies. These topics still signal that I am watching them for replies, but I am not getting any notification that someone has made a new reply. All of these topics were being watched before the server change, and this is the first post of mine on the new server, so I'll have to see if I get an e-mail notification about the reply to this post. Other than that, the site is really fast now and I haven't experienced anything close to a 500 error since the server change, so I want to thank everyone who helped move the site.

Even PM notification failed to arrive.

I noticed I'm not getting PM notifications either. I would appreciate it if someone could fix this fixed soon (though no one probably saw this topic had new replies because they didn't get the "Site Bugs" e-mail notification).

I use TASVideoAgent for all my notification needs.

I'm away for a good part of each weekday until next month, so I appreciate knowing when threads have new replies and when I get a new PM (since I reply to those first) since I can't be on IRC. Well, the problem appears to be fixed now, so thanks to whoever fixed it. I'm also really enjoying how incredibly fast the site is now. On every computer I've been on in the past few days, the site posts replies and loads even movie pages very quickly.

I completely agree. I was ready to make an appreciation thread because of how outrageously better the site is operating now.

Adelikat just created a thread about the new server.

I noticed a weird PM system bug. When user1 sends a message, and user2 immediately reads it, then user1 sends one more message, that also gets read by user2, the first message gets eaten by DB. Occured about 3 times.

Probably not the right place for this, but http://tasvideos.org/1277M.html Megaupload doesn't exist. So that commentary file links to a dead site.

Something's wrong with the screenshots on this page: http://tasvideos.org/Movies-SNES.html
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do

Can you be more specific? I looked at the page and didn't see anything wrong with the screenshots.

It's possible klmz is using a mobile device to view the page. I travel a lot and use an ipad to browse, and sometimes the screenshots of each video get out of line, so you see a Megaman movie but the submission is for Metroid, or some such thing. I've never had that problem on a PC.

I already posted this in private message to Nach, but still no result… One, two It at least does not look nice (and possibly may lead into an attack, I did not check it deeper).

I checked, it doesn't look like it does anything except cause the site to compose invalid SQL syntax (with couple extra warnings from trying to pass an array as a string).
