Not at the point, does deserve it, but too early. Not enough votes and following the trend of the other 3, no.

It's not a bad run at all, but it does go on a bit long.

Wasn't a huge fan. It's all right, but the 0 star, 70 star bljless, and 120 star runs all have it beat.[/quote]

[1390] NES The Blues Brothers by J.Y in 03:39.77 Older one, but it's very entertaining. [2966] GB Trip World by MUGG in 05:10.91 To be honest, I wasn't expecting this run to be as good as it is. It sort of creeps up on you, I guess. But this is easily one of the best GB TASes this year. [1760] DS Ivy the Kiwi? "100%" by Ryuto in 15:23.86 Blindingly fast? Blindingly fast.

I second this one. It's an extremely entertaining movie. But it's not a terribly well known game.

Yeah, I love Blues Bros., gave them 9 for entertainment. Will watch the rest 2. EDIT: Didn't like Ivy, it's the same stuff that you see in the first stage looped for 15 minutes, and after some time it gets annoying, as it doesn't give you time to understand what gameplay tasks it completes during flying. Trip World is good.

Two of the highest MSX TASes, where MSX has not been stared to date, may we give these two a chance? [2516] MSX The Cure by scrimpeh in 08:40.85 [2974] MSX Metal Gear by dunnius in 26:28.04 Entertainment for both of them is a (6.8) but a fighting chance for them?

Yeah some variety with consoles would be sweet. Here's a few that are good for the more obscure ones: [2933] GG Coca Cola Kid by Samsara, ars4326 & dekutony in 08:26.47 and [2987] PCE Splatterhouse by Samsara in 12:15.72 CCK is fast, and cool. Splatterhouse is really entertaining and pretty fast. Also maybe [1855] SNES Super Castlevania IV by arukAdo, Bablo, Cardboard & scrimpeh in 29:38.08 ? It's awesome too.

You forgot SMS Castle of Illusion. This one has good autoscrollers, bad music, a few occasional glitches and decent gameplay. Nothing extraordinary. Coca Cola Kid is alright, need more feedback. Coca Cola Kid has great autoscrollers, nice atmosphere and decent boss fights, but slow and straightforward levels, so I don't know. I have no idea why SC4 wasn't already starred, it's some supreme stuff.

I know it's technically my run and that me vouching for it is Combatribes level of self-indulgence, but here I am anyway since it was a solid collaboration and I feel like I haven't praised my partners enough for what they did. Taking myself out of the picture here, ars4326 and dekutony did some absolutely excellent work with routing each stage, testing every possible path (and there are many in later stages) and giving me really tightly planned (and even optimized) files to work with. Both ars and dekutony were out of their element in TASing this and they pulled through magnificently and made the final file as great as it could be. Had I done it alone, I doubt it would've even come close to being considered for a Star, and I have old WIPs to prove that. Also, since the suggestions were posted, Splatterhouse went up to an 8.1 average... I'm a little surprised.

Samsara: I'm not questioning it's technical value, it's the repetitiveness people might feel while watching it. So I need people saying there's none.

Weak vote for [2933] GG Coca Cola Kid by Samsara, ars4326 & dekutony in 08:26.47. [2987] PCE Splatterhouse by Samsara in 12:15.72 is not Star material in my opinion, too much scrolling to stay constantly entertaining.

[2933] GG Coca Cola Kid by Samsara, ars4326 & dekutony in 08:26.47: Nicely fast paced (helps it's built off of the Sonic the Hedgehog engine and the games play very much similarly), vote for Star. [2987] PCE Splatterhouse by Samsara in 12:15.72: Matching input with the music is always a faiblesse of mine (as in, I find it entertaining). Vote for Star.

I wouldn't star Splatterhouse, despite being a fan of the game. It's kind of slow and it's not terribly diverse. Coca Cola Kid isn't something that hugely appeals to me, but if it's a quota thing... well, I can't see any other GG games ever getting a Star, so sure, I suppose.

I've always thought [2818] N64 Paper Mario by Malleoz in 1:30:40.15 should be starred. It's super optimized and one of the more entertaining RPG speedruns to watch. There's a lot of cool tricks and skips giving it a lot of variety and it currently has a score of 8.7. If you've watched it with Malleoz's commentary you'll see just how optimized the run truly is. What do you guys think?

8.7, you're looking at overall, you're meant to look at the Entertainment branch. Seeing as we have almost 10 votes yes, but seeing that we just have a random 10 there as it's an over-hyped score. shrugs Or it's just Kura doing the 10, 10 game on every TAS again.

There are still sane guys giving it very high votes, I'm not opposed to starring it at all, since only a few RPGs can make it for a generally entertaining run. Whoever is interested, go vote!

Paper Mario was fun, but compared to other TASes, it was a bit too repetitive for my taste. Paper Mario 2 is longer and has more cutscenes, but it has more to offer.
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

I wouldn't be opposed to TTYD being starred over the original! [3022] GC Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door by Malleoz in 3:25:02.75 If most people thought it was more entertaining, then sure. The amount of time cut from the last run was very impressive too. It's just that it doesn't have enough votes yet though. Or does that matter? Idk exactly how this works lol

Yeah go ahead and star TTYD. Awesome technical run that gets better with each publication.
