This is a record that nobody ever played before. This game names FullMoon, made by MANA, the IPS can be download form here.
This is a very gorgeous mario hack, not so easy, I think.
There are 9 levels in this game, and 3 extra stages, the extra stages are very hard.
This is the movie completed on 1-9, I didn't get to the extra stages.
Hope you like this movie :)
And here are some snaps from MANA's website.

mmbossman: Rejecting due to poor viewer response.
CoolHandMike: Un-Rejecting to re-judge based on new rules.
CoolHandMike: With the new rules entertainment requirement has been removed. This is an optimized tas that makes good use of known Mario tricks and bugs. Tas syncs fine on FCEUX 2.1.3 and 2.2.3 once the FCEU movie was converted using the Convert tool in FCEUX. The ips patch file is up on that linked page in the description.
Accepting to Standard.
Nice tas!

Hmm... how do I put this... The hack was not impressive to me... not as bad as Air though. The gravity changes weren't bad and kind of cool.... the bouncing along by going on Stars was a nice touch... but aside from that... It was fast.. but the special levels should've been illustrated due to their difficulty... but.. Nah.. Sorry.. this isn't a bad movie.. but the hack isn't entertaining, despite your best efforts to make the movie entertaining despite it. Gotta vote No.. but it's very tightly towards Meh.. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Why? In hacks like these usually difficulty is better. I echo KRF's opinion. It's alright in terms of hackines, but some things just seem dumb; blocks share the same color for solid and passthrough, some things make little sense... Maybe it would look better? Meh for me. Not bad, but not as good as it should've been. (Although I still prefer the original Air)

This goes for me too. As for the run, I like the different color scheme, which is certainly a refreshing change. It's well played, and was somewhat entertaining, but I've never been a fan of SMB or the multitude of hacks available for it. But it was quick enough, had a fair amount of variety, and kept my attention for the whole thing, so it deserves a meh.

The hack was rather meh in my opinion, and I voted accordingly.

I don't recall there being a discussion on whether or not this particular ROM hack should be allowed as an exception to the "Hacked and homebrew games are not allowed" rule - unless there was, I'm predicting this will be rejected shortly.

Why not,Quietust? I think this ROM is much better then AIR,this is not a bad ROM,so it shouldn't be rejected!

One of the rules is that TASes of hacked games should not be submitted unless the hack was discussed and approved earlier.

Rules are rules, and they are there to be followed. If noone follows the rules (this one in particular) all sorts of crappy hack TASes could be submitted. You don't want that... do you?

Same as BoltR, I also think that think you should include the extra and special stages in the TAS.

Well, we don't want any crappy TASes submitted, and yet we still get those. The point is, every submission might turn out not to be crappy. Submissions of 'real' games, can be just as crappy as submissions of hacks. Lets be honest, rejecting this because it's a hacked game is not a good reason at all. If this movie would be totally awesome, and everyone loved it to death, it would get accepted, just like the other TASes of hacked games that have been accepted. There is no official "this hack has been approved for TASing"-stamp or anything. If you make a topic about a hacked game, only people interested in the hack might reply, and it might seem like a good idea to TAS. Even if someone who is able to give special permission for a hack replies and allows it, there is no knowing if the submission will be accepted, even if it was "approved". It all comes down to if people like the game (hack), the gameplay and the quality. The concept of "special permission" is stupid imo. We might miss out on some great entertainment, just because some hack hasn't been accepted, while it might turn out to be perfect for a TAS. I don't really see the difference between 'normal' games and hacks... it all comes down to what makes an entertaining TAS. Just imagine if Super Demo World was submitted for the first time, but didn't get special permission beforehand. Everyone loved the TAS, but it should be rejected because it didn't get permission? Edit: Btw, this was a general comment on hacks, not on this TAS... I didn't watch this TAS.

The submission could get rejected, the author could start a thread and get permission the correct way, and then the rules are followed and everyone is happy.

Rejected and then resubmit? Seems rather random. Aren't the ones who judge these movies also the ones who are able to give permission? It seems a rather slow and arbitrary process to go through the whole forum thread process, especially since you can't be sure if any of the ones deciding things is even watching these threads. With a submission you can be sure they will take note of it (eventually), and you will get (and they also) an idea what the general audience thinks of it. I'd say, change the rules, then the rules are followed and everyone is happy.

Yeah. But that would be way too political. The "no hacks except the following" rule is there to deter the possibility of judges becoming swamped in hack judging tasks (as there are potentially a limitless number of hacks). It is not an absolute law. The same may apply to some other rules, as well.

It's very sad that the extra levels were left out; so I voted no. In case you'd redo this run: I'd find it a lot better to see you do something than just standing around when you have to wait (like for that Koopa to jump on in the stars level).
