Trust me, once you've learned C good enough to help with this, the project will probably be finished by far.
That's an optimistic view if you ask me...

It isn't a secret, check emutalk... it might take a little searching, but I believe it is Datadynes Mario64 pack..
Datadynes Pack is supposed to make it look like Paper Mario. I did search the forums, yet I don't seem to find this particular pack. :( Since you posted the screenshot, would you mind uploading the pack? I'd really appreciate it.

I've already seen this thread, but the one I'm looking for doesn't seem to be in there. Nevermind.

Will this be compatible with Jabo's plugins? It'd be nice to be able to use those for TASing, as Jabo's Direct 3D8 1.6 is easily the best plugin for Zelda 64 games. Unless you guys are also going to fix up the graphical errors gln64 or RiceVideo.

We will not have support for Jabo's, however it should be compatible for Windows, however we recommend using the supported plugins that come with Mupen64 that way they will be continued to be developed on. Right now Glide64 Napalm looks like an awesome choice for windows users. And eventually it will be ported back to Linux.

I can confirm this. Bomberman 64, Goldeneye 007, and many, many other games that had graphical problems are now rendered much better. I highly recommend anyone starting a new N64 TAS to check napalm.

When using napalm I get an error saying Glide 3x warning : grGetProcAdress : grTextureAuxBufferExt and after that grGetProcAdress : grAuxBufferExt then after you played for like 20 sec you get: grTexTextureMemRequired : unknown texture format: 12 This only happens on some games(Goldeneye)... wierd

I don't get any error message in Goldeneye, but when I start a level I don't see anything, it's all black, though it flickers a little sometimes when I move. Could it be my graphics card that sucks? Well, at least I got to see a few microseconds of that sky.

It might be your card, goldeneye runs 100% perfectly for me. That sky looks beautiful.

This thread isn't for discussion on individual games. Please refrain from that! On a lighter note, a real soft-reset feature is being developed. After that I am going to wait on the on screen display branch to get merged. Then I will restart the (re)recording branch. I will keep it as platform independent as possible, as merging it into windows should be easier that way.

I take that statement back, however I don't know where I'm going with the branch right now... I guess one patch at a time. In the end, it might require a big cleanup too.

Is this version better than Mupen 0.5 V2 from the thread here? Does this version of Mupen have recording yet?

So just to play games normally this version is better, I may have to look into getting this one. Most of the time I use rerecording though so this might not be the vesion for me yet.

Also keep in mind that the Windows version is still in it's early stages... it should get progressively better.
