Ninja Kid, I think, because the level that appears here is called Guerilla Warfare.

Haha, I should have just tried searching for Ninja Kid, considering I said the game was about a kid ninja. This is the one!

I remember playing a PC game once when I was younger. It was a two player game where each person had an army of worms and tried to kill the enemy army with various weapons. Anybody know this game?

This was a 2d side-scroller for the Genesis. It had a male warrior, female warrior and mage. I remember the mage being the best, mainly because his attack stabs the ground and energy shoots forward, hitting the enemy. If memory serves, the wizard looks like Gandalf the Gray. The first boss was fought near some fire or lava. He probably spit fire at the character. It reminds me of a dungeons and dragons type setup. Lots of gray and brown in the background, a "wow, these graphics look real!" type of game. It was a tough game. I can't say I got far past the first or second level. It was definitely M rated; I think the heroes could bleed. I do not remember if it is two player. I know it was on Genesis, but I do not think it was on another home console. It was definitely NOT Golden Axe, or any other "psudo-3D" game. Does anyone have any ideas? I would love to replay this game!

Hmm.. I remember a platformer for the SNES. You played as a blue blob and the title screen was in space or something. It had multiplayer options and I think there was ice in it. I also remember there being multiple exits in some levels but I dont know if thats accurate. Its not a lot to go on but its all I can remember. =| A dozen cookies if anyone finds it~

Are you thinking of Snake Rattle 'N' Roll? I know it's an NES game, but everything else you described fits.

I remember seeing a side-view 2D game for the Amiga where you controlled a bouncing ball. The only thing you could control was which direction the ball would rotate and how fast, and the ball would then bounce from the scenery. I do not remember what the goal was. Surely this same idea has been used in countless games on many platforms, but it would be nice to see the original Amiga one.

I remember a DOS game in which you control Snoopy and walk from left to right, into new screens. I was extremely young when I played it, but I remember it making me very happy. Edit: I found it. It was the DOS version of this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5es6ODb_c8 The DOS version (or my computer) wasn't super-laggy like the gameplay seen in that video, so it was surely more fun.

I played this game too, it was super laggy as in the video and I didn't know what to do so it was no fun.

Aw, damn. I have also played this game briefly, but the reason it stuck in my head was that a friend of mine made a clone of it for PC in Pascal back in 1996. Sadly I cannot remember the name either. If it means a lot to you I could try to get hold of this friend (via facebook or something) and ask him?

Bit of a long shot, but maybe Cadash? At any rate, I'm still very curious about the identity of this particular game.

I played a NES game a long time ago... don't know much about it. I believe you could walk and jump around, and punch. There were also several different powerups... and I think the second boss was on an autoscrolling elevator, with fireballs you had to dodge while fighting him (probably the most clear thing I can remember, because no matter how often I hit this second boss, he wouldn't die). It could very well be that this game was never officially released, I played it on a 13 in 1 game cartridge... anyone know the name of this NES game?
I found out a while ago what this NES game I was describing over 3.5 years ago was: Tokyuu Shirei Solbrain. (It's the JPN version of Shatterhand. The screenshot is actually the boss I was describing I think.)

I played this game on NES. It was beat'em up. Background graphics were glitched. Like this http://s018.radikal.ru/i512/1201/c9/016a3df3868c.png Main character can run if you press Left or Right twice. Also he can take knives from enemies and then throw it. The first boss is man in green uniform. Second - in blue. There is a green spikes at the beginng of level 3. Who know what is the game?

Could also be something like World 1-2 of Lost Levels (VGMaps). It starts with a pretty large jump, especially if you don't know how to run.
At first, I thought it wasn't, but in retrospect, I'm reasonably sure that it was smb2j 1-2. (I remember the block just before the jump, now it's been mentioned.) Funny how games change with age… Thanks!

I remember this puzzle game in an arcade. It played like Puyo Puyo. There was this Crow (or some black bird) that was dressed up like a Doctor.

There's a game I kind of remember from over a decade ago, on the SNES (possibly on NES, but not likely), that seemed to involve levels that segued from side-scroller space shooters (Gradius-style) to base-exploratory top-down maze views and back. It's been bugging me for a long time and remembering so few details about the game has made it rather difficult for me to search for. T_T
First a movie gets submitted, and ends up accepted despite breaking rules other runs have been rejected for. And when I vote less than spectacularly on this movie, I become the victim of harassment and threats. Yay, favoritism.
