http://www.racketboy.com/retro/nintendo/n64/2008/03/enhance-n64-graphics-with-emulation-plugins-texture-packs.html Ok, this is for Project 64. But would such a thing be possible for Mupen? And if so would it cause timing differences? In my small understanding it shouldn't. But I'm proabably wrong. I just think it would be cool to watch TASes enhanced like this....

In theory, if the author of the movie used Rice's video plugin, you'd be fine. Otherwise, it would more than likely cause desyncs.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

Watching TASes with Hi Res Textures enabled syncs up for me as long as the game doesn't have desync issues based on what Graphic Plugin is used. For games such as those, any run other than one that used Jabo's Graphic Plugin should sync up with Rice's Graphic Plugin.

Just thought I'd point out that this idea has been brought up before.
