Garfield: caught in the act is a new (1995) and colourful game starring a well known character. But now, that I'm half way through, doubts arise, that its speed and level layout make it unsuited for a tas. It would be nice, if I get some opinions about it. Thanks in advance. youtube video

Nice job so far. This is a really frustrating game so it's definitely easier to appreciate this tas with unassisted play experience.

I think it looks interesting enough, but maybe I'm just mesmerized by the nice animation of the Garfield character. And, Odie as a vampire???

It's not bad, I agree it's a little slow-paced but I don't think that should stop anyone from doing a TAS.

I have this game on PC, it came with my Sonic 3 and Knuckles collection. I would like to see a TAS of this game.

I have that game on genesis, loved that game... The first level, and boss, was harder than the rest of the game though :P I would like to see a tas of it.

Ok, thanks for your opinions. I don't want a guaranteed yes vote, but only prevent the case, that everybody on the workbench tells me later, the game was never tas material in the first place. Despite being an easier game to tas, I won't be fast, as I have to catch up stuff, that I was too lazy to do in the holidays :) (Currently 3rd boss beaten)

I think a lot of people played this game in their childhood and would enjoy watching a TAS of it. I know I spent hours and hours unsuccessfully trying to figure out how to beat that damn egyptian level... :)

Oh, hey, one of my requests! Cool. Not bad looking. Just a couple of things though. First, I'll have to look into it a little more, but I believe there's more shortcuts that can be taken with the vines. Involves a little glitchery. Second, are you sure there's no way to avoid the hammer in level 2? I would think whatever time it takes to avoid it would be made up by the time not spent in that bonus level. Unless you're ignoring bonus effects. Third, a while ago I found a glitch involving slopes. If you land on the ground right next to a slope and keep going towards it, you'll fall through it. The only place I've been able to get it working was in the map section on one of the microchips, though. :/ And yes, the Egyptian boss was a pain. Keep it up!
