My bad, it was for Super Mario Impossible/Metamorphosis/Forever, not Kaizo.
That one was definitely more prone to starting new topics, but that was more due to people not knowing the actual name of the hack, which is not the case here. All of them got eventually merged into one thread.
Not using search when it obviously works is bad.

My original point (which is to use the search to find the topic about the game in question) stands just as well, the fact that I confused two hacks doesn't mean I couldn't have searched for the relevant topics — in fact I did; I just didn't read them through beforehand to find out which is which, because it wasn't my intention to begin with — hence I got caught red-handed, and I have no problems with that, nor with not coming off great in your eyes. Hope that suits you.

Just curious, how do they hack these roms anyway? Is it something freakishly complicated, or a simple program that lets them remap and whatnot? :)

Callmewoof, in the first thread moozooh linked to, the first 3 levels have been TASed by myself, and yes they are much more optimized than the youtube vids.

And Demo World is a stupid longass game with poorly-designed and retard and boring stages and there's apparently lots of interest in it. Kaizo is a lot better and nobody wants to make a run...? Maybe I have to learn smw techniques and make it myself?

I think it's even more stupid than the original. As far as I've been able to tell, there's literally no way to finish the first level without tool assistance, since you need to press a button for exactly one frame. I think the concept of making a game like this and require cheating is just kinda stupid.
