I know a guy who does nothing with his computer but download TV shows and movies, and watch them on his plasma TV. He got a wireless keyboard and mouse so he can control the computer from across the room, on the couch.
I like a wireless mouse because the cord never tugs back when I move it. My batteries always seem to last fairly long. I've never had a reason for using a wireless keyboard though.
I don't know what to say about nfq's response. I can't even tell if he actually means any of it.
I also won't comment on sound being part of the electromagnetic spectrum or the problem of induction because I really don't want to get into a huge philosophical discussion.

It's curious that you use the term "electro-magnetic wave" even though your definition of "electro-magnetic" clearly differs from how science defines it. How do you define "electro-magnetic" wave? Note that in science, as the name itself implies, such a wave has an electric field and a magnetic field (which are at 90 degrees of each other). Sound does not have such electric nor magnetic fields.
Electromagnetic radiation has also other properties which sound doesn't. For example, EMR behaves in some situations like a stream of particles instead of a wave (the compton effect is the classic example).

You just proved to me that you don't have the slightest idea what the hell you're talking about. Light can't travel through walls, but what about X-rays or radio waves? Do you even know how the electromagnetic spectrum is organized?

Sound travels because of the electric field of the electrons pushing on the electrons in other atoms in a cascade. It could also be argued that matter might be composed of rotating electromagnetic structures, but it's still wrong to call it an electromagnetic wave, since with an electromagnetic wave we mean a wave that arises due to an electric field changing the space around it. One could decribe the electric field as something which starts to change at a rate equal to its curvature in an effort to relieve itself, and this action is what causes electromagnetic waves.
