• VBA19 was used for recording this TAS (Syncs with VBA20)
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Abuses programming errors in the game
  • Takes no damage
  • Manipulates luck
This run improves OgreSlayer's glitched run of Castlevania: Circle Of The Moon. The run basically warps straight to Dracula.
It is 671 frames (11.1833... seconds) faster than the published run, and the improvements comes from more precise movements, lag reduction and less DSS-triggering versus Dracula.
The first 7500 frames were played by Cardboard, and the rest of the run was played by zggzdydp, except for a minor part of the last Dracula battle.
  • Cardboard's comments:
I started this run a long time back but only played up until the summoning part since I never got a grip of the idea. After seeing zggzdydp's 100% TAS of the game, I sent him my WIP, and was very satisfied when I saw what he did with it :)
  • zggzdydp's comments:
Cardboard sent me his WIP and told me his opinion, I believe that it can be improved. Then I continued it. :)

NesVideoAgent: Hi! I am a robot. I took a few screenshots of this movie and placed them here. Here goes! Feel free to clean up the list.

Truncated: Accepted as an improvement to our current short movie.

adelikat: Processing.

The level ups were annoying but other than that it wasn't bad.

I vote yes, but I still support using the Magician Mode for the glitch run (which requires starting from a savestate just where the full run finishes).

The endless leveling up after the first Dracula form was a bit annnoying. Other than that the improvements were very obvious so its a straightforward yes vote.

I think the level ups are sort of comical really, it shows how much you really aren't supposed to go there yet. Other than that, yessing this.

I agree with you. Yes vote.
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do
