But my 2560x800 is just a little bit bigger.

IMO 800 vertical pixels is way too little, no matter how wide the desktop.

3520x1200. My e-penis is bigger than yours. (would love to replace those two with a single 30" 2560x1600 though, but they're damn expensive. Maybe at half the price.)

it hurts my eyes if the monitor is too large. i bought a 22 inch screen a few weeks ago, but i thought it was too big so i bought a 20 inch instead (which was more expensive). personally, i think TFT/LCD monitors suck a little because they can't seem to be able to create good black color and the viewing angle thing. my old 17 inch CRT monitor could have a larger resolution (1600x1200) too, but i never used that resolution because it hurt my eyes to use 60hz. at first it felt like this TFT monitor hurt my eyes, but it doesn't feel like that anymore, maybe i got used to it. maybe i could have gotten used to 60hz on the CRT monitor too. dunno, perhaps you could get used to a 30 inch monitor too. i hope they make better monitors in the future which don't hurt your eyes.

Do you know what exactly is hurting your eyes? I had to increase the default font size on my computer significantly when I got my 24" display because size-12 fonts are too tiny.

This is probably old, but how did you get Winamp to use its alternate title bar? Also, inverse e-penis: 800x600, 250MHz, 32MB RAM is a great laptop (not)

I've been using a completely black desktop for years, I could never stand colored desktops, not to mention pictures and shit, yet recently I found myself setting this pic as desktop on all the computers I use: Nostalgia anyone? =] edit:

In Winamp 2.x (not sure about the newer ones), select the main window and type "nullsoft" on your keyboard (press esc after each L since it will invoke the open file dialog)

type "nullsoft", without quotes and pressing ESC to close the "open" dialogs after you press the Ls,

Yep, sure is. Really ancient version of Opera, too (7.something).

That's not all. How can Aladdin and Jasmine fly around freely in a magic carpet if they keep having debris (desktop icons) get in their way?! I mean, that's enough icons to knock both of them off...!
