"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself.
It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the
kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional
functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success."

Somehow it feels like when an untalented writer tries to create profound and smart dialoge for his characters: At times it sounds like he's almost getting there, but overall it sounds... forced and unengaging. Artificial. Cliché. There's no real talent behind it.
Kick-ass bass tutorial (might be a little random)

Some acoustic pwnage (might sound a bit odd due to bad mic on the camera)

Man, I seem to be kind of addicted to spamming this thread. :(
Too bad that when conspiracy theorists use the term "scientific proof" their meaning is slightly different from what science itself means with it. For example, it doesn't mean "cherry-pick evidence that seems to support the theory and ignore/deny any evidence of the contrary (probably as part of the conspiracy)".
For example the second part of the video argues that discrepancies in the orbit of Neptune indicate the presence of a massive transneptunian object. Of course this happily ignores later discoveries, such as:
"Six months before, Myles Standish had used data from Voyager 2's 1989 flyby of Neptune, which had revised the planet's total mass downward by 0.5%—an amount comparable to the mass of Mars—to recalculate its gravitational effect on Uranus. When Neptune's newly determined mass was used in the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Developmental Ephemeris (JPL DE), the supposed discrepancies in the Uranian orbit, and with them the need for a Planet X, vanished. Moreover, there are no discrepancies in the trajectories of any space probes such as Pioneer 10, Pioneer 11, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 that can be attributed to the gravitational pull of a large undiscovered object in the outer Solar System. Today, most astronomers agree that Planet X, as Lowell defined it, does not exist."

American prudery combined with their begrudging legal acceptance of public breastfeeding always entertained me. Then again, hypocrisy in a society whose laws are determined predominantly by the agenda of rich, white, male, conservative religiosos probably shouldn't surprise me.

How come no one has ever done a TAS of the classic snake game:
Link to video
• Aims primarily for maximum score, but slightly for fastest time also
• Contains an entertainment/speed tradeoff
• Manipulates luck (if the snake's tail is where the next cherry will appear, it will appear elsewhere)
• Contains flaws
It took me hours of googling to find a TASable snake game (normal, simple version), and this isn't even from any real game, it's just a homebrew for GBA. I found a better one for Wii, but TASing on Wii seems like a pain. I guess that's why no one has ever done a TAS of this game, because it's impossible to find, even though it's one of the most well known games ever. The 'original' snakes seem to exist for Atari 2600, but that isn't TASable yet.
I've been a little curious TASing this, to see what it looks like when you get maximum possible score and the screen is full of snake... but in this version there's a lot of space between, and at the same time, there's such a small space to move within. The actual game doesn't have any sound effects, it just has music, so I added my own stuff there. If you know any other (better) snake clone on another console, let me know.
I tried to write something with the snake's tail, but because there's so much space, it's hard to make the text recognizable. +1 if you can find it.

I did a proof-of-concept-WIP for Super NeSnake 2. I wrote a bot that brute forced manipulated the game to make the fruit appear right next to me all the time, thus aiming for fastest possible time. I this this more entertainment oriented approach is better.
Cool. In the GBA game, I couldn't find any way to manipulate the fruits to appear in any other place, except if the snake's tail was blocking it so that it couldn't appear.
I'll make a better snake TAS some day, but will probably have to wait until PS2 TASing is possible... snake is such an advanced game you know, so a proper version doesn't exist except in PS2 Timesplitters 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h22thYhPCNw
There are some snake games for DOS though, but the DOS emulator seems hard to use.
