With all the hacks that have been showing up in the queue recently, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw these sometime soon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9BA8X1YBdY&NR=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9BNXyh09p0&NR=1

I thought this thread was for 'crappy' youtube videos, yet everyone keeps posting good videos, like this.
Wow, that's some pro trolling. Too transparent, though. He clearly is making obviously ridiculous claims on purpose, not because he believes those things but because he wants to taunt, or whatever. He's not serious. Too bad people get trolled with that kind of stuff too easily. They just don't get it that he's not serious.

Not youtube, but googlevideo... (youtube doesn't support subtitles) I'll add a description later... PARANORMAL PEOPLE

What are you talking about? Rolly is mediocre, which is obvious considering he's a Japanese celebrity who used to be in a glam rock band, and not an upper-echelon guitarist, Totman is decent but nothing special, and while they're both very good, Marty Friedman > Herman Li. Frankly, not even Friedman is among the top 75 guitarists alive today, though.

I find them quite boring. I like AVGN's style more. He doesn't have to invent flaws to criticize. And he does it in a much more entertaining way.

AVGN and yahtzee are the only ones I find to be worth watching. I swear I must be missing the point somehow with those others, I just didn't find them to be funny.

Again, but added a description and fixed stuff. The original is pretty funny... I hope I translated it properly. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4971755854978352092&hl=en

If you look at it from seconds 34-38, he seems to be growing and shrinking without that much extra lower extremity motion. I think there's a reason he's wearing all black;)

You may be just seeing forgery where there's none. People will see signs of forgery when they want to see it. It's like all those yoga levitation photos: People will try to see signs of image manipulation and forgery, and they will see them even if there are none. (The real explanation is usually much simpler than that.)

So the real explanation is that this is real, despite the highly unlikely positions of his center of mass over his base of support? If not, what's your idea of simplest explanation?

I'm not saying it's real. I'm just saying that it could be. It's very easy to see forgery when one *wants* to see forgery. The "yoga levitation" photographs are a good example of this. The photos are usually completely genuine and unmanipulated. However, they are photographs. They represent one single moment in time. The vast majority of "yoga levitation" photographs represent people at the highest point of a jump. They are not levitating, they are jumping. The photograph has simply been taken at the exact right moment to make it look like they were levitating.

I was in a little comic shop once, browsing through a box of used CDs... there were a couple of kids poring over books of Magic cards with all the intensity of a neurosurgeon. At first I was making fun of some of the stuff the guy had, but then I found a pair of gems (Jesus Built My Hotrod for $0.99?!?). I showed them to the guy behind the counter, and he said "CDs, hey... they're cooler than Magic cards." The two kids looked like he had just shot their parents.
