I am pretty sure that's not the way you install AVIZLIB... Still, I did not have this problem, so I can't help you ) Was there no installer?

When/why are you getting this problem? I have never heard of this avizlib and am sure I've never installed it consciously. So either it's a default program or this is a different issue... What version of FCEU are you trying to run?

How come you guys never heard of AVIzlib? Don't you export your movies? Of course there is no installer, it's an encoder and it is the correct way to install encoders. Doesn't FCEU support Windows 2000? Cause in XP i can see all the compressors but in 2000 the are no compressors available.

In Win Xp, just installing was sufficient if I remember correctly but it is possible that you must run "rundll32" to load the dll for win 2000.

im using AVIzlib trought FCEU sometimes isn't there a register file or so called "installation" file that registers it correctly ? i don't know your proplem but it works fine on me tested with 0.98.13,15,16 versions (but don't use 16 version avi recording feature becouse it only records black screen) let's hope you can get it to work :/
