I have set up a subversion/trac server for the Gens Rerecording project. What this means is that multiple coders should be able to work on Gens simultaneously (PM me for details) But what this also means is that there is A) A wiki for the Gens rerecording project, just waiting to be put to good use B) A ticket system of tracking bug reports and feature requests So, from now on, please report bugs and request features by submitting a ticket at http://home.ryanc.org:8088/projects/Gens_Rerecording/newticket This will help me (and any other interested coders) keep track of bugs and features in development.

The link is broken, but it could be nice to be able that frame advance would make a pause before switch to (auto fire frame advance mode) because when I press the keyboard, I often skip more than one frame

Thanks for answering me before. My main interest for now (since I'm quite new to programming) is to study the source code to see how programs like this work. Is there an easy way to download the entire source code to my hard drive?

RapidSVN. I believe I made that repository world readable.

I guess I should have asked if there was an easy to do this on Windows... I know, I know: "You should switch to Linux!" Oh, the peer pressure! ; p

Maybe not, or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Which URL am I supposed to use on this dialog? Every time I use the URLs:I get this message:
Error: Error while performing action: PROPFIND request failed on '/projects/Gens_Rerecording/browser' PROPFIND of '/projects/Gens_Rerecording/browser': 200 OK (http://home.ryanc.org:8088)
On a side note... no offense, but this is quite a bit of trouble just to download the source code. I don't doubt that the web service and RapidSVN tools are useful, but all the other emulators' source code have easy-to-use download links...

Err, that's the TRAC url -- IE, the wiki, which rapidsvn doesn't work with. That's my fault for failing to include the SVN path in the post. the SVN path is
http://home.ryanc.org:8088/svn/Gens_Rerecording/
And I understand that using SVN is a bit of trouble for people who just want to read the source without contributing, but the current zipped up source is severely outdated, and the SVN will always, always, always have the current revision. Once I get gens10 fixed up, I plan to make a new zipped up source release, though.

TortoiseSVN is also a good option (for Windows users).

huh, can't get authed to the subversion server. it keeps asking for l/p. I could not find where to create a new account into the trac server, I must be missing something terribly obvious, I fear.
