Lets discuss every significant game/s. So yesterday it started, two pretty decent games. Today its Swedens turn :) and later this evening, Argentina will be facing The Ivory Coast. Keep your eyes especially for one player in team Argentina. His name is Carlos Tevez. Absolutely brilliant, supertechnical and fun player to watch (these players are rare). Then on Tuesday, its time for everyones favorite team Brazil :) Ya'll know which players to look for, Ronaldinho, Adriano and my personal favorite: Cicinho. Ready FODA? :)

I've been instructed to support the English squad. I'm not so sure how I feel about this, considering my Australian roots, but it would be cool if they decide to let Rooney play eventually. In any case, I'll be watching this game pretty soon :) I'll be at work by the time Sweden's game starts, so I'll have to find it on the radio.

Noone can ever beat Zidane! My 2 favourite teams are France and Japan, and I'm waiting for Ivory Coast to make a suprise and beat Argentina.

Best match so far was germany's, closely followed by the dutch. Sweden had a period where it was fun to watch, but T/T did their best to keep it a dull fight >_<

It seems that in Heaven they write "Brasil" and not "Brazil"... Just like we do here. What means: they speak portuguese in heaven!

Crossing my fingers for the USA game tomorrow. SEMIFINALS, HERE WE COME! Also, I'm a big fan of the German and Turkish teams, so I'm rooting for them. I'm hoping the last game comes to Germany v USA, so that I can shut a lot of people about how good Germany's goalie is.

Surely you jest. I thought it was entertaining, and I only caught a few minutes of video (mostly read the Matchcast). The fact that no team scored makes the group more interesting. I mean, who seriously expected anything other than a loss for T&T? Maybe they'll be like Senegal was in 2002. /me hopes for T&T > England

I don't think you should underestimate the Croatians. While I don't think it very likely that they will win, they're not newcomers to the tournament. Therefore, I don't have any predictions for the score. My other hopes, though probably unlikely: Côte d'Ivoire > Netherlands (For keeping Romania from reaching the tournament) Ghana > USA (I have a habit of rooting against the team from where I'm living) Ghana > Czech Republic (See Netherlands) Togo > France Togo > Korea Republic Okay, so I guess I'm somewhat biased toward African teams.

Just 1 hour and BRAS(Z)IL will play. The World Cup starts now :) Someone question is: "Why wrote Brasil and not Brazil". That's because Brasil is the name of the nation in... Brasil. He probably forgot that forum is in english. I expect 2X0 or 2X1 to Brasil. The last 6 cups Brazil ever starts with victory, and this time is not different. (Hope never die) [EDIT]The tie of France is frustanting. Tell then to not repeat 2002 campaign.

The South Korea - Togo-game was the best match I've seen this far. Two teams going all offence from the very beginning until the very end. Very entertaining.

I was confused by what Poland were doing they were defending in a game in which they needed to win. Czech rep VS USA has been the best game so far.

I've never been so nervous and afterwards so damn happy! It's been the deserved reward for pushing forward for a long time! My conclusion until now: - the African teams are stronger than I thought although they all lost - France was just a disappointment...they are comparable to Germany 1998 - England: another disappointment...let it rain for their next game - Brazil...hmm...I think Croatia derserved the win! But on the other hand it's not that easy with one less: you can't count Ronaldo as he was just watching the game and maybe did some WALKing. But I expected MUCH more from a team with so much potential! - the only teams I was impressed by:
The Netherlands (awesome Robben) Czech Republic (superior victory) Spain (never expected such an obvious win)
I have to sleep now although I wanna party until I die... Sleep tight!

By far The Ivory Coast has impressed the most of all teams. I think they really deserved the win against Argentina. Brazil will get much better, trust me.

It would be interesting if Costa Rica would beat Ecuador with a good score. If that happens, Germany could still not qualify, and Poland could still qualify. Everything will stay open... so I guess I'm hoping Costa Rica will win (not that I'm against Germany, or for Poland... but it will be more interesting). If Equador wins (which will probably happen), Germany and Equador advance, and will play for 1st and 2nd place.

I want to kill Parreira for don't chance Ronaldo in the half-time. Ronaldo is simply fat enough to run. -_______- Spain in impressive. I don't expected a 4x0 in a team that have Schevchenko. Today i will hope for Ecuador victory (south american hope). Sweden and Paraguai too will both play for win in any way and will be a interesting game. I'm afraid of Australia in Sunday. 3x1 in Japan is not easy and Ronaldo is on the starting team, as Parreira said. I start to bite my fingers because don't have more nails.
