um, here's my pathetic attempt http://ccgi.gdward.plus.com/cgi-bin/tetris/index.php?replay=2085 It's great for a 0.2 version, but these are my suggestions 1. Fix the RNG. PLEASE. 2. The controls are sort of sloppy. If I hold left to make the piece move all the way to the left, then right after that if I press right to move it one space to the right of that then it should move one space to the right, not zoom all the way to the right as soon as I press it. 3. Fix the rotation rules, the way they are right now makes Death mode far too limiting. Don't overkill it though, Tetris DS level 18 is way too easy. 4. Also I would move the 'S' piece one space to the left. besides that, it's fantastic, I think.

I hope so, I was beginning to think you were surviving on dumb luck after the game got buggy. I LOLed when the green piece went slightly offset and when 1mm off screen! Playback desynch anyone?

Oh, I know what it is... All replays are buggy now. The moved Z/S piece and fixed rotation causes all of them to desync. Damned. Edit: Yes, it's hilarious when a piece manages to go OUTSIDE the border. Also, watch some of the longer replays (unsuprisingly, by me). They're just as buggy if not worse :P

Hilarious. I didn't get rockman though, just pieces showing up in wierd places but the score and lines disappearing lined up. Edit: Unless by rockman you meant seriously buggy.

Edit: Ah, it was caused by the last update adjusting the way the Z block rotates. Will add a tweak to the replay code to use the old rotation for old replays.

Up to 3.2M in death mode now, but I haven't played as much. I checked the Tetris DS leaderboard (or, rather, what works on it) and it turns out I was ranked 7th in the world at 7,594... ...then I got hit by a streak of very bad luck and lost 3 games and went to 7,4**. Of course, the fact everyone quits after one game when playing me doesn't help, either, so getting back to 7.6k will take a while...
