Ok.. quick rundown of the game. Here is a hard to find, Japanese game that plays similarly to those Castlevania games that so many others love. It even uses the whole medieval motif, though magic spells are far more prominent. There are 6 hard stages, but i could not find a Glitch at all :(. Still, it is entertaining to watch.
I would like to thank nesrocks, he helped alot in the making of this video.
Enjoy.

Phil It's well played. I am encoding it.

Hm, I liked this. It reminds me of a lot of my favorites... Castlevania, Mega Man, and even Zelda II in a way. Everything in this movie looked pretty sharp except for the lag... well, and the crazy graphical glitches towards the end. Not much you can do about that, huh? I vote yes.

Does a newer version of FCEU play it right? I think it's being updated now, but I didn't see any mention of Holy Diver, so I'm not sure.

Really nice movie Vatchern, it was entertaining throughout the whole movie. And it was pretty cool that he could turn into a dragon too. ;) Voting Yes!

I personally enjoyed the two minute long scrolling credits at the end - Good lord, that's slow. Is that a record of some sort? It seems like something that should be catalogued. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie. Unique magic to use, lots of action as opposed to dodging everything, etc. Kudos, dude!

A little tedious all in all, but that's the game's fault, not the author. The sidescrolling shooter segments had a slowed down Gradius vibe. I'm curious though, the game seems to have different paths available, do any of these offer anything besides more/less challenge? By the way, did anyone sit through the end sequence and notice that the two heroes were named Randy R and Zakk W. as in Ozzy Osbourne's two most famous guitarists, Randy Rhoades and Zakk Wylde? Hell, Holy Diver is one of Dio's (as in Ronnie James Dio's band) more famous songs. Those Japanese and their heavy metal fixation.

This was a great run. I really enjoyed viewing this. The emphasis on combat opposed to dodging everything was refreshing. Too bad this game didn't spark a series...I think it had an interesting feel to it.

All japanese games aren't about 80's metal, Queen has also great influence in some games and anime. Most noticable is probably Ogre Battle series ;)
