Mutant League Football Some interesting competitions could be had at this, most attractively how quickly you can kill enough people on the oposing team to make them forfeit.

For all those that REALLY want to see a Psycho Fox run for the Master System, get a copy of Decapatack. Made by the same people and has near identical feel.

I would really like to see "Rock Man Mega World"(J) complete with wily tower (I think there is a alternate rom that has a working battery backup). Also Knuckles Chaotix 32X !

I would like to see these games (Adventures) as TAS's: Beyond Oasis (The Story of Thor) Ecco 2: The Tides of Time Ecco Jr. Landstalker Light Crusader Phantasy Star (all different versions) Shadowrun (but more the SNES version) Shining and the Darkness Shining Force Shining Force II Super Hydlide Sword of Vermilion Ys III: Wanderers From Ys
Last TAS finished: Final Fantasy Adventure (4.0 Warp Glitch Run) WIP in the moment: Tail Gator (GB) Matty

On the subject of Shining In the Darkness, I did some preliminary research some time back and found the fastest way to manipulate when fights occured was to bang against walls (which causes the black border around the screen to flash red). Very annoying.

After reading through this thread I saw that someone suggested Puggsy. Although it's a long game (trust me, I spent a good portion of my childhood with it) it would be very interesting to see a speedrun of it.

Problem is, Puggsy doesn't work on Gens, near as I can tell; Sure, you can play five levels, but after that you'll get an anti-piracy message.

I'm doing a Shinobi 3 run atm. It's anything goes bar Ninjitsu. Started last night. I'm at the Godzilla type boss. However, i want to start again as I discovered a very handy technique a level previous- I reckon i could save about 10-20 seconds and maybe clean up some bosses. Shall I create a topic and post WIP?

I'm very interested in seeing your new technique. So feel free to start a topic and post what you've got so far. Why bar ninjutsu? Especially in places where it's helpful? Also, there has been two submissions for this game, have you watched those so that you don't miss anything?

I did my own TAS of this game and, sadly for you, it was not serious. Just like all my TAS's are not :) Grab a file here

Look at My page for non-serious attempts :P I might be interested doing Beyond Oasis, since the sequel in Saturn is among my favourite games and I'm speedrunning it once in a while. My current record is 1:13:03 but with saving more often I'm able to squeeze it under 70mins. Yeah, I was talking about Story of Thor 2 for Saturn... :/ First I would like to complete improved SoT2 I was talking about and maybe Rings of Power if I find time. I'm sorry to be more oriented to speedrunning for my own fun than entertaining you with precise TASs.

I've only seen one video on this board, which was the no shuriken kill all enemies etc and seemingly no effort was put into it. I couldn't find any others, I'll have another look but could you post a link please?(DW I found it) And as for the Ninjitsu... well: 1) I forgot at first. 2) I don't want to be arsing around working out if it would be quicker to use it at this point or that point, or which one to use, or if it would save enough frames to make it worth pausing and choosing it, all while taking into account how long it takes to cast. 3) It makes the video look more impressive. I will make a topic with what I've done so far with a list of suitable excuses :p

So you're pulling the "I don't want to have to think" card! Shame on you!

Yes, I'm guilty, but maybe after I've done it without I'll rethink(or rather, think in the first place). But probably not.

Check out my movie so far, it's; -no shuriken -no items -no ninjitsu -no harming other enemies (unless needed, like miniboss/bosses/vents blocking pathway etc.) -no damage to myself maybe it'll help you some, it's pretty weird some of the stuff i end up doing.

Great to see this one revived. :D I'd still love to see how fast one can make a team forfeit in Mutant league hokey. Any one up for grab? =)

Hi, new to the forum, enjoying all of the videos submitted by hardcore gamers, now I have a request: Gynoug. Please Somebody do a speedrun, I loved this game many many years ago, and would love to see an expert play it all the way through! Regards, Anarki.

Hey, let's make a complete list of Genesis games, similar to the N64 wishlist. It would be useful information source, because there are many games that can't be tased with Gens currently. For example: Dune II desynchs. Chiki Chiki Boys desynchs. The Chaos Engine has a graphical failure. I once had a list with almost every Genesis game ever published, but I lost it and can't seem to find it again. It's not an impractically long list, so maintaining it should be feasible. I'm willing to contribute to that kind of a page, if the idea is acceptable.

It was released for SNES as well. I played it a few weeks ago. It's nice, but I think it's a bit too long and repetitive for a speedrun…

The Genesis wishlist could suggest different platforms for games that have bad Genesis ports or fail to work with Gens.

Here's a 7z-ed text file of the 5871 known Genesis ROMs. A lot of the included files are bad dumps, translations, hacks, etc, so there's probably only around 1500 titles we'd be interested in. http://www.sendspace.com/file/2eynj4

Thanks. I'll make a cleaned up version of the list by removing all duplicate titles, ok?

Sounds good. I've become a big fan of working with Gens, and know the games the best (out of all the othe systems), since it's the only 16bit (or less) console I owned, so I know I'll appreciate a project like this if it gets done. I'll certainly be willing to help out a little bit if you'd like.

Great that you are interested, mmbossman. I can make the first cleanup all by myself, since it's not a big task. We'll see what to do with the list then. All ideas are welcome.
