Not sure if anyone else experienced it, but this site sort of "went down" on me yesterday for about 10 hours. Couldn't even access the main site either. So... what happened? Is it just me? Because I had a few friends check out the site too and they couldn't access it. o.o Just curious.

When I tried it was down only couple of hours, then was working again for a while and then was again down for about an hour.

Yes, it went first down for 1.5 hours. I rebooted the ADSL modem and it came up a few minutes after that. After ~20 minutes, it went down again. I went sleeping, and when I woke up by morning, I rebooted the modem and the connections came back life a few minutes later. I was seeding/downloading about 10 torrent files during that night. At morning, I decreased the number by 4. The site stayed up. Perhaps there's a causal relation.

I'm starting to suspect that there is no ADSL modem capable of withstanding heavy P2P traffic. I've had bad luck with three different manufacturers already. Nokia (M10), A-Link (Roadrunner 44B, Roadrunner 44AP), Telewell (TW-EA501, the current one).

I've heard Zyxel build good modems.

Ahhh, I see. ^^ Have you looked into Motorola modems? I heard they're not bad, though I've never tried one (I have cable) so I can't say for sure.
