Gameclock time will be under 2 hours but in TAS, it counts everything so my time is now 1h 49m 29.317s :P

That is absolutely true, but it isn't a crime to ask what the final time will be if it's not measured by in-game units. EDIT: one post between clicking reply, and then submit EDIT2: wait, what am I doing? this isn't BK related, it's general.

Oh my bad, Sami said the time would be just under 2 hours I assume he meant game timer because counting cutscenes its impossible to get under two hours now. Still awesome time for banjo Kazooie 100%, though. Nice job! :)

Just dropped by to mention how much I, your average TAS-watcher, love this run so far! Very nice work, keep it up!
I generally suck at games requiring any form of skill so I watch others cheat their way through them to feel better.

i have a question sami, in mad monster mansion, when you were in the church and did the flippy thing, were you supposed to do a ground pound when you got onto the bench? because it looked like that didn't belong there.

Although it doesn't look like it, that's actually required to land on the bench.

In that case, ground bound is slower.

It was necessary to ground pound on the first bench to avoid taking damage from the ghost. I'm not sure about the second bench though. Did he do a ground pound there? By the way, Sami; How is Click Clock Wood coming along? :)

If only the first part of your sentence was true (bad joke with honest intent). Anyway, Sami, I cannot wait to see this part of the run. It is going to be great without any doubt.

Nice run work~ Can't wait for it to be finished. :D (Sorry can't help it, I have wanted to see a perfect run of this game for a while, and show it to a certain friend to get him to shut up. "I canz beat zelda in 2 hours, I can beatz banjo kazooie in bla bla bla")

Demand denied. Picture yourself in his shoes, do you want nubs yelling at you to constantly keep them updated on progress? I'm sure he is hard at work at it, or is busy. We TASers have real lives. Request > Demand = expected etiquette on this site.

I am sure he was just joking about "demanding" an update. Seriously...

And yet, given the attitude, I get the feeling he wasn't. Like honestly, is Sami going to complete a finished segment of CCW, and utterly forget to post about it here? There's a very easy way to gauge progress. It goes like this: 'Progress posted = Progress made' So all the "when is this done?" "I demand to see a WIP!" "what's ur statuz?" posts are, utterly useless. Progress cannot be posted before it is made. Thus, sitting back, and waiting for progress to be posted prevents unneeded flooding of demands in the thread. Patience prevails all.

Good guess my friend. And CF, although I was joking which was overlooked mistake numero uno from you, I was also simply requesting a verbal update on how his run is going because I have told Sami numerous times that I enjoy his work and this game so please don't think I was "demanding XD" a WIP from him. Consider it support from an e-friend and an attempt to make this thread less of a metaphorical meeting room full of in-patient yet silent clients. Gracias!

Yes, but lives can intervene. Surely you don't think it's useless or rude to ask for an update after a month or so of no word. It has happened that people got busy and never updated, and a "sups, progress?" post spurred them to inform "sorry, busy, but will post back when I pick it up in x months". Though in this case he was probably just eager :)

Asking if he made progress can motivate the author so I wouldn't deem it a bad habit. It shows people are interested in the run.
