After seeing Spikestuff's Space is Key TAS, I was immediately inspired to create a TAS for one of the games in the series. Fun fact: this game was actually my first exposure to the series, and my favourite out of them. So you know I just had to TAS this!

Notes

Like Space is Key, this game is mostly an autoscroller, with little ways to save time. However, two new mechanics are introduced. After using space to jump, you start using space to switch gravity, and then to switch direction. Here are some additional level notes that I feel are worth mentioning.

An intentional death was taken at the second section of this stage. This is because with the moving object's cycle, I couldn't get through the first obstacle in the third section without dying at least twice. I found that dying at the start of the second section was the best place to quickly adjust for this cycle.

We unlock the "switch directions" mode here. The best way to minimize timeloss is to spend the least amount of time going the opposite direction. Most of the obstacles in this part of the game involve getting a certain distance to a wall and then switching direction. This is seemingly different for each wall as you can see later on.

In the third section, instead of switching direction, waiting a frame, and switching direction immediately after, I had to waste an extra frame otherwise the right wall wouldn't disappear.

More moving object cycles! However, since we can switch direction at will, we don't have to rely on dying, and have much more control as a result. For the rest of the TAS, I just started moving in the direction to the end as soon as an obstacle would get out of my way.

Other comments

Even though the game choice might be a little questionable, I still hope you enjoyed this TAS! Thank you!

You can just use
md5sum yourgame.swf
in a terminal. If you downloaded it from Flashpoint, it's probably going to display something like:

My issue with this TAS is that it doesn't use the Newgrounds or the Armor Games or the Addicting Games or the Kongregate version. Out of the four, the official version is technically the Addicting Games version as "Primary Sponsorship". The version being used here is from Flashpoint which is indicated by that red bar at the bottom. I did find it leading to a 5th site, but that's an unofficial version. This cuts the Nickelodeon splash due to that red bar. But with that said what's provided is still Walgrey's work, there was adjustments made to it to improve on the run, specifically at the end. Mouse positions were also cleared out to clean it up a bit more as well. Requesting co-auth. Flashpoint version (-137 frames). Newgrounds version (-88 frames). Pushed up to libTAS v1.4.5 and ruffle 2022-12-02 just like the author's (syncs on 2024-01-01).

Kinda disagree a harder to get version which isn't "official" was preferred over an easier to get version, but that's just my two cents that I forgot to mention when I made the previous post. >.>

All I can say is that I'm sorry that I didn't consider the version of the game before submitting. I didn't know that this version was unofficial, and I'd be ok if the Newgrounds version was used instead, but I don't know if that's up to me. Once again, I apologize.
